I read the instructions and then followed your instructions (visual) to the T. Worked like a charm. A couple of recommendations: if you do at home (don't have a lift) use the 1L or 1qt bottles, I initially used a 5L bottle and it was a hassle to handle under the car. Don't buy the Harbor Freight click torque, it's a PoS, I cannot stress this enough, it's a PoS; it doesn't click and when it does it's barely audible. I purchased at my local Walmart the Chemical Guys APC + Degreaser, this left my garage floor looking like I never spilled any oil. Thank you FnD, for it being my first time other than making a little bit of a mess it was simple enough, much appreciated👍

The Mobil 1 I use doesn’t have the Fiat Spec number, but does have the API SN , SN Plus oil rating listed in the service manual. When I had my 2017 Giulia, I used the Pennzoil Euro. It was good, but it was getting hard to come by. The Mobil 1 is easy to get at Walmart or at Amazon and has the same API ratings. If the car is running fine, you might try pulling the negative battery cable (it has a quick release) for 30 sec and hook it back up. Heads up, when you turn the car back on, you might get a bunch of warning lights. Keep the steering wheel centered when you start the car. If you get the warning lights, turn the steering wheel all the way to the left, turn all the way to the right, and then back to center. Turn the car off and then back on, and the warning lights should be gone.

If you aren’t experiencing any slippage or shudder from the torque converter clutch, 68k miles should be fine. If you wanted to be safe, drain your old fluid into a clean drain pan. Just in case you needed to add some old fluid back. I did this when I changed the fluid in a BMW 328i with the GM automatic transmission. Luckily, it ran great after the change, but it was just a precaution. Thanks for watching!
