I think this map is a great addition. I think at first some would consider it underwhelming in some aspects. I think if they were to encircle the two lowest levels on each side with more spots instead of isolating them it would have more love. I think what people don’t take into mind is when it comes to filming. This map has a lot flow, a lot of spots for single tricks, a lot of spots for lines, a lot of spots for bangers, a lot of spots to diversify lines in the same vicinity of each other. You can start your line off heavy get a few tricks in between your last trick which could be a banger, and Vice versa with starting off with a tech line then ending with a banger, and they vary in so many ways. The diy plaza you start off has thousands of possibilities to make a creative line. I don’t mind a ledge heavy type of map, because those are my favorite obstacles to skate, you can also add obstacles into those open spaces, and make more lines that can be done, there’s a variety of stair sets and rails. I think they could have done more, but conclusively I’m not disappointed with what we got in this dlc. To me, it’s nostalgic as well, and was a spot I would hope would make it into the game. I’m happy with that. Anytime I load up I think of Jeremy Roger’s footage there with the brown suede accels in Yeah Right, and his footage in Skate More.

its only good with mods, playing it vanilla is ehh. But once you get mods, you can play for a good while and then the customization to foot stances, tricks, alot of gear selection

yep, the pop delay in session is what had me eventually switching to XL. Especially if you are doing tricks back to back, soo much easier not having to preload every trick

Idk. If you can spend a tonne of time to make the game good, you should buy it. If you want to spend 15 minutes and go skate, you should buy session skate sim. (If you are a console player, you have no choice... only session(cuz of stats)) I tried to start to play sxl. I modded everything but it still felt like Roblox skate game ... So, I play session, skate 2,3 (Xenia canary)

skater xl is terrible. the controls are horrible. skate 2 i can do all the tricks all grinds easy , both skater xl n session is tedious to play. im waiting for the new ea skate been almost 15 years.

im from slovakia and the stalin plaza in prague is my favorite spot to skate in the whole world! so very epic i d be happy af if they just added the realistic version but they added a lot of stuff that doesnt exist in real life anyway so i dont think there s not enough of spots

We need some more Shoes on console! and there is a very annoying bug with performance mode and so you can't even target 120FPS on PS5 even though the game is supposed to be able to do it. They obviously can't be bothered fixing this which is a real shame. It's such a great game and it seems that every time we get a really promising game, the developers are always lazy or just don't care enough. How can you be releasing new maps to buy but can't be bothered fixing these basic things. At least the bounce bug seems to be fixed!
