    Why on earth are you wearing gloves to do an unboxing and assembly of a line trimmer ?

    Do you transfer the worms into the soil or you let them multiply and get only their casting and enhance the quality of your gardening beds?

      The worm farm is teeming with worms over time, yes periodically move it to the garden beds and compost bins. Will make another video sometime.

    Too much nitrogen in the green stuff & will heat up . Not good for the worms.

    Those worm trays look nice. Did you say you found them at a local Aldi store? I just looked on their website but no such product is currently listed and I don't remember seeing any at my Atlanta Aldi stores this past summer. At the end you put up a title card that says "Product link in description". Where is it?

      Hi Terry, Aldi stores keep changing their product stock every week. Mostly they get all the garden products around the spring time. Yes need to work on the product link in the title card. Apologies for the confusion. Hope that helps

    Oh, my goodness, no! WAIT for the vegetable scraps, grass clippings and leaves to start breaking down. Nothing you put in is ready for the worms to start eating. Worms eat microorganisms, bacteria and rot. Also, there is a danger that what you put in will get hot as it decays which will cook the worms. Have patience and wait for the natural processes in the soil to break down the rest of the materials and then add the worms. Both you and they will be happier. I see you have a yard in the background of this video. if you have a lawn mower, run it over the leaves and grass clippings to create more edges for the bacteria and worms to work on - the finer, the better. In addition to garden soil, another good source of beneficial bacteria is Mushroom Compost. I buy 40 pound bags of it at my local Lowe's Garden Center for about US $6 or so. By the way, egg shells *must* be ground into a fine powder before worms can consume them because worms don't have teeth! Find an old used coffee bean grinder or blender at a thrift store for the purpose. If the eggs were not boiled, you will need to bake them to kill pategins such as salmonela. Save them then stick them into the oven the next time you are finished baking something. The residual heat will be more than enough to sterilize the shells. After they have cooled, you can crush and pulverize them. You did not mention this, but I will: NEVER add any animal derived product such as milk, cheese, meat, etc. The worms won't consume it and foraging animals might be attracted. When my customers or I need Red Wiggler worms, we get them at a fishing bait store. Terry Thomas President Brookhaven Gardens Atlanta, Georgia USA

    How would you rate this whipper snipper if I told you I want use this to mow a small lawn? (I'm thinking of buying one at Bunnings)

    • @howtwo4669
      @howtwo4669 Рік тому

      Apologies for the delayed response. The whipper snipper is very ergonomic and light, easy to use with dual line. Powerful to cut through with ease whatever I tried to throw at it so far. Invested in the Ozito cordless tools for all my DIY home projects so far because of the battery kit, but the Ozito whipper snipper is quite bulky and only had a single line. So after some research got this one, looked much better than other whipper snippers in the market in this price bracket. Worth getting the Makita Brushless Line Trimmer, used it for 4 months now so far no problem. Does it make sense for you to get a lawn mower or a line trimmer for a small lawn. If you want a line trimmer, this one worked like a charm for me, no issues so far. Would rate it 5 out of 5. Will keep you updated if I find anything wrong with this product
