Welcome to Between the Keyframes where I discuss cartoons, animation and all good things between. Why the name "Between the Keyframes"? Well, in animation, all of the action, emotion and drama happens between each of the keyframes. Without those frames in-between, you wouldn't have cartoons at all and it's the details of the action, emotion and drama that I want to talk about.
So who am I? Well, a little bit about me is... I'm a husband and father who's been passionate about cartoons all my life. I have a degree in digital effects and animation technology as well as a degree in visual communications. I've also spent 16 years in television as an animator, graphic designer, videographer and photographer. You can view my professional portfolio work at ua-cam.com/users/justinowendesigner.

Peter and the Wolf: Disney's 1946 epic musical adventure
A classic tale of a boy, his gun, and his friends going on a hunt for a menacing wolf. This film, produced in 1946, was the first cartoon I ever saw in school. A true classic in every way.
Please visit www.Cinelab.com and check out their services today. They did an amazing job scanning my 16mm cartoon prints.

This review is long in the making (as they all are) so I wanted to make a trailer so no one thinks I've quit the channel. Peter and the Wolf is one of Disney's best classic shorts so I want to do it justice. #disney #cartoon #history All clips used for fair use commentary, criticism, and educational purposes. Переглядів 5029 місяців тому
One of my favorite artists that is connected with videogames and cartoons is Yoshitaka Amano. Most people in the West recognize him from his illustrations of the Final Fantasy videogame series, but there is so much more. I want to highlight Amano in this short series so we can appreciate his contribution to the world. I've revisited my original 2-part series and had the opportunity to pull a Ge...

Oh this was one of my favourite film when i was a child!! so beautiful
How could you drop that beautiful rifle!
@@wolfler_vii that Garand is a tough one. Didn’t even get a scratch!
I love that film because I watched it though. Because I had a wide TV because the film is wide
Why do you play that depressing techno shit for a documentary that had great potential? Why does the sound quality rival 64+ digital pitch corrected compressed noise gated music production of today?
There is no techno in this video, just hip-hop tracks, and one with a classical undertone, which is my theme song (regardless, I play the music in my videos because I like the music I use in my videos). My channel is a hobby, a creative outlet not designed to be generic and please everyone. That said, I did the best I could with the sound quality. Do you have any constructive advice or you just plan to be mean?
@@betweenthekeyframes Seriously, It was not my goal to hurt your feelings.Make what you want ,any way you want. I would not have chose a hip hop cut as background music celebrating Bugs Bunny but I am not you
only oscar huh?... thankfully now i have more context to these memes
I only started hearing of Wagner's Tannhauser specifically because of this short!
His ancestor was a duktator
DONALDOLF DUCKLER😂

4:49 The Moment That Been Waiting for…
Learn something new everyday lmao love that episode.

I watched the full cartoon. It’s wild🔥☠️
I'm 64 and I still tell friends when I grow up I'm going to marry bugs bunny. My niece and nephew were never sure how serious I was. I was and I am!!
WHAT THE Hell I never seen that episode but this should be ban😅
Nazi Jerman 😈
So, where can we download your original restoration?
I haven’t yet figured out how to legally upload it
You won't find this on disney+. Everything today is so PC and they want you to pretend that this never existed and with song of the south movie too. 😅
Elmer carried bugs up the Bifrost bridge to Valhalla there to await that fateful day when Heimdall's horn sounds the arrival of Surtr and the final battle.....
the fact that calling it “die” fuhrer instead of “der” is mad disrespectful is crazy 😞😭😭
This cartoon desereved an Oscar! It's so well animated with great classic music...and super hilarious of course!
Ur grandpas watch this when they kids 💀💀
Well i thought about that💀
The fact i have a dvd disc of that film. No cap.
Full version?!
Adolf Duckler💀
And now I'm keeping my eye out for an affordable print that I can get scanned... Disney will never do a good release as they don't believe in preservation.
In an alternate time lime Nazi Donald Duck has a dream about working long ours to pay for smaller and smaller portions of groceries while he get a note that his landlord will increase the rent by 150$ next month. He looks at the paper in horror as he turns on a television hoping for better news to end his day. And blam he is schocked and disgusted as his Government only cares about men who dress as woman and how it is violence to say they are not what they believe they are. All the while the government says that the economy is great. As Donald goes to sleep with a tear running down his eye he wakes up and realizes he is just a cartoon.
I'm so jealous that you have a digitized version of this. It was on my Yearly-viewed home recorded VHS tape with Rudolph, Frosty, and Donald's snowball fight. I can't even watch my Blu-Ray of it... It looks great. For now, I'm stuck with one of the DVDs, which to me, looks SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Blu-Ray...
Manga was better
Dark past of Donald Duck
That is literally hitler and the little wall cartoon with kids watching
Thank you!
I used to watch this as a kid and I did not know what happened until now
Love this masterpiece (although the ending shocked me when I watched it for the first time as a kid, seeing Bugs seemingly dying), one of the biggest legacies of Chuck Jones and the whole franchise of the Bugs Bunny and the Looney Tunes. I’m just 27 and I love the Looney classic cartoons. I have recently got the idea for a theatrical act adaptation in theatres and auditoriums, including Broadway, based on “What’s Opera, Doc?”, starring the Bugs and Elmer themselves (the mascot costumes that are used at Six Flags and Warner Bros parks and wearing their opera outfits), and also with an orchestra and many special effects (VFX, sparks and smoke, fire, lights, and more), one opera adaptation that may overcome Fantasmic from Disney parks. And after the play, a small meet-and-greet of Bugs and Elmer costumes wearing their opera costumes (Bugs as Brunhilde and Elmer as Siegfried), dedicated to the kids and parents who will see the play to get a souvenir or memory of this magical experience. It’s just an idea and personal suggestion that would be worth. Imagine Bugs mascot costume wearing his Brunhilde attire.
Sounds like that would be a lot of fun!
Disney was better then. Less gay
good it's not ducktators

Bugs Bunny: "what do you expet in an opera a happy ending" 😵
Ww2
I had a couple Looney Tunes VHS tapes I watched all the time as a kid, and one of them ended with "What's Opera, Doc?" My family used to make references to this cartoon in our daily lives, which just shows how impactful it is.
Huh? It got an Oscar?? But i thought it was banned?!
Bro I think I’m getting pdsd again 💀💀💀
This is the greatest cartoon ever ❤😂
Ça a detruit mon enfancd 😢😢
The greatest cartoon ever
Der fuehrer's face means the leader's face 💀🇩🇪🇮🇹🇯🇵
I love this cartoon. It has always stood out to me as different from others in some indefinable way. To find out that is was sneaked into existence as a labor of love puts it in the same category as the duck piano duel in Roger Rabbit. Thanks for the insights!
