Hi all, another video of harvest on our farm. We harvested Wheat, Barley and Canola this year. We had the best finish to the season, receiving 250mm of rain in spring. this set us up for record breaking yields. Western Australia itself also had a record breaker receiving over 16millions tonnes of grain. Special Thanks to Tom For the footage with the drone. As with all my videos if you cannot vi...

Is this a straight through xforce system or do you have the resinator? Cheers.
Great vid mate, haven’t seen any of your vids before, enjoyed them thoroughly. I’m just up the track from you lot, the first farm either side of West Talbot road on the North end. The place with all the crook fencesl.lol. Good to see some local yocals posting vids of our LIFESTYLE.. How was last years harvest and this years seeding? We were late getting ours in due to lack of rain, then it all came at once and couldn’t get over a lot of ground. Our place is like soup once ya break through the top six inches. We pull two 511s round and a few times we had to rescue them and the tractor with the dozer. Once they stop ya got about half an hour before theyr sitting on their draw bars. They just keep sinking. A couple of times once bogged iv had to step down into the tractor when trying to retrieve it. I’m sure our Case is six inches longer now after the D7 pulled her out a few times. Do yous run any sheep or cows or are you just cropping? Again great vid and all the best with upcoming crops.✌🏻👍
Numduck is better my dad is grant maisey son
great video do you mind me asking what sort of drone you used? thanks
Great vid mate! What's the name of the contractor or harvest company? Cheers!
We own all our own gear. In Western Australia everyone owns their own gear. Contractors aren't used here because our farms are too large and the contractors wouldn't be able to finish one farm quick enough to get to the next one.
Would have watched it if it didn't have the music
Sweet video mate, Fantastic edit....amazing how you make work look amazing and fun and so exciting ha ha. Great job (-;
which version of nosebleed section is this ?
Superb some of the most inventive camera positions ever on you tube! Good luck this season
Dude tel Liquipel if you show them the papers they might buy you a new one
Nice video. Was there any difference in the yield between the seedhawk and the morris.
Heh - another great clip Adam. I'm just about to get myself a drone as well. They will be kickarse at the bikes rallies.
*chuckles* That has real potential!
Hey Adam, love your work. Still going to the Numbat 2014 MRA rally? If so we should put footage together and get a bit of a bigger edit happening.
Amazing vid loved it great shot with the camera on the chaser bin
Yes definitely an awesome mix up.
LOL
Thanks mate. We were spreading lime sand. It is used to raise the pH of the soil.
Nice video, what were you spreading on the paddocks at 3:00?
Yes it would be nice to keep it all but if we did that then the chemicals we use to control our weeds would not work. The chemicals we use have to be applied to the bare earth for best efficacy. This is why we remove most of the straw in Australia. If weeds weren't an issue and we were Given the choice we would definitely keep it all. But we can't.
Chaining stubble to knock it down so we can then rake it up and burn it. We do that so we can remove residue to seed into the paddock. Our old harvester couldn't deal with all the straw but the new one can now. So this was the last year we had to chain, rake and burn paddocks. It was a very time consuming process.
@12KKJohnDeere6830. The point of swatting the canola is to dry out the plant so then it can be harvested. When the plant goes through green it can block the feeder house or not even break the grain out of its shell.
hello
Do you know Ben Schilling
Lol
great video, what are average yields down there?
Hahahahahahahaha
Trolololololololo
no it never worked again
It will work after it dries
Is that some kind of fertilizer you're spreading?
Hi 12KK, Yes in Australia we call rape seed canola. It has slight different oil qualities. And no, I don't know andy okeefe, there are thousands of workers who come out to Western Australia every seeding and harvest to help out. But he very well was working on a farm here. Johndeer121: yes you are more than welcome to come out to Australia to work. Easiest way to do so is to google search seasonal agricultural work Australia. There are a lot of companies that place workers of farms.
