Keep calm and survive the Trial with the perk Calm Spirit! Take a look and see how the perk can help!
Deja Vu! One of my favorite perks in the game! Nothing better than having an aura reading perk of the gens in case you're lost! Also, the bonus gen repair speed is great as well!
UA-cam recommended did something useful for once. Awesome!
The most infamous survivor perk, I'm glad it's balanced now. We do need anti tunnelling perks but not the way old DS worked lol.
There are a few perks that work as Anti-Tunneling like Off The Record and Borrowed Time. The newest Survivor Taurie has a perk that trades hook stages with another Survivor.
The perk to run when Lavi is killer, pair with Head on and Diversion, fire crackers or the perk Flashbang is a good combo with it if you wanna seal the deal
This perk is sooo fun to use! Just because a perk isn't meta doesn't mean you can't have fun with it and deception is a perk that's loads of fun when you trick the killer. Pair it up with Quick and Quiet and Head On if you want to waste the killer's time!
I agree! It can be a fun perk to use, I've seen builds that have Built to Last, Head-on, Quick and Quiet, and Deception. Maybe that'd be an interesting combination to try sometime!
i like that perk! ^^
Hopefully they revert it, like they are doing with old nerfed perks, next year!!!! ❤❤❤😊😊😊
It's an okay perk. I only see it being paired with Autodidact but 10 percent is very low. It should be 40 percent at the least.
I can agree with a number increase, perhaps to 20 percent and see where that goes. Killers like Doctor can make a build around Deadline any Survivors worst nightmare!
That perk is so strange. the 10% higher odds for skill check is nice. the fact it requires you to be injured makes sense i suppose. but the skill checks in random places is so... impossible. Gotta have them cat eyes to even make it work. Being injured is already a big price if you mean to remain in that state for a perk. and its just for a 10% odd. Perhaps one day it'll get changed. i believe something has to be changed in it for the perk to be at least a little more used. And there are much better choices for genrushing anyway. HyperFocus + Stakeout obvious , but perhaps a Built to last with double charge add-on's since toolboxes also increase the odds of a skillcheck triggering and there are still better choices for the last perk. i believe even Resilience makes more sense , Deja Vu or even Prove Thyself. For now i feel like only hackers benefit from Deadline. The ones with cheats that always hit you a great skillcheck. Yapped a bit here , but hopefully the comment will work for YT stats at least since this channel is so underrated , yet so professional and nice.
Thank you for your kind words! I think if they upped the odds to 20 percent, the perk may see more usage. But can be effective with the right build!
@@MagicLavenderTVaagred! Perhaps it would let it shine a bit with autodidact. And no problem! ^^
Ehm, idk how to react, i expected to hear and see smth like a troll or trash content here, but im surprised in good way. Calm and relaxing voice, useful information for novice in game. Definitely subscribe and will watch before sleeping Gj, wish you a success in your UA-cam career
Thank you for your kind words! I upload weekly so stay tuned!
The infamous Dead Hard can't say I love the current version but I do understand why it was changed. It made a lot of M1 killers useless lol.
It made ANY killer useless. You could deadhard any attack you saw coming. The only way to hard-counter it was a deep wound, meaning only pinhead and legion stood a chance.
Not the hugest fan of the perk always felt that Kindred was a better perk. It still has some uses but there are better options.
I agree with this statement! I feel like Dark Sense could be better, but it is much better than its 1.0.0 version.
Now, this is epic
hello my goat
One of my favorite perks in the game! It's a complementary perk it goes really well with quick and quiet AND Lithe. You can make some aggressive rescues with this perk or you can confuse the killer in chase!
Pretty fun perk but it feels complementary and can be a little difficult to use. A skilled survivor can utilize it to its full value but I'd say Dance and Lithe are a more consistent and easier to use combo.
Cool name meh affect. But if you want a boon build, It's good to have it.
I just came here to say, I stumbled on this video, and it looks like you do great content! Love all the relevant information, both about synergistic perks, as well as currently available means of obtaining the survivor. I dropped a like and a sub, hope to see more!
Thank you for your kind words! I do these weekly and will do Killer perks at a later date!
i love the changes they made to this perk. Now i can shame my friends from across the map when they miss a skill check XD
I giggled at your comment as teasing your friends about missing a skill check is pretty funny.
Not a good perk at all, it relies on the survivor missing skill checks something that will rarely happen unless they bought the game 30 minutes ago or are purposely blowing up the gen. The only time I think It'll gain value is when Hex: Huntress' Lullaby in play and even then, your best off cleansing the totem lol.
Before the recent changes, I feel like the perk was not very useful unless you were playing with a newer player. But now, I see it getting more uses in solo queue.
I have 600 hours, I miss skill checks in every match
@@tasmium I have 2k hours and STILL miss skill checks so you aren't alone!
A solid perk though I prefer Detective's Hunch because it requires you to finish a gen to activate it. Unless you know the totem locations or are searching for the Hex, you don't want to spend time wondering around the map to get value out of this perk.
Chemical Trap seems to be an interesting perk! I don't know if I have it, but If I do I'll definitely use it slow the killer down. It looks to be a niche but fun perk which sadly is the story of a lot of survivor perks! :(
It is a niche perk, but very satisfying if you can use it to keep the Killer's attention for your teammates to finish a generator or go for a save!
@@MagicLavenderTV And to see the killer freeze up! XD
I use Bardic Inspiration tech... Play a song and the killer probably will let you go lol
That has to be the coolest perk name in the game lol. It's a fun perk, too bad I'm not good at doing flashlights! :(
It works well with Blast Mine and Flashbang for the secondary effect! No time like the present to practice with flashlights!
"In the Fog, Survivors have a sense of Camaraderie." Oh so how do you explain Survivors constantly leading the killer to me? ;) As for Camaraderie, it's a decent perk, but I prefer Reassurance because it's more flexible. With Camaraderie you have to be within 16 meters for the perk to gain value, but for Reassurance, yes you have to be close to activate it but it remains active after you leave so the Survivor can distract the Killer while another one comes in for the rescue.
That I can agree with! As for Survivors running into you, Bond can help you see them coming so you have time to hide!
@@MagicLavenderTV Indeed! :D
honestly, I feel like if the aura reading range was a bit bigger (42 meters or so) I’d like it more. I don’t remember getting much value out of it.
Maybe give it another try! New perks get added all the time, so maybe you'll find a build that works well with Better Together!
Boon: Shadowstep is very useful for countering Jumpscare Myers
That is a great use for Boon: Shadowstep!
Shame this thing has been busted for nearly two months now, at the time of this videos posting. This was my favorite perk to run.
It's a fun perk to run, hopefully it'll be fixed soon.
Never forget the one-time Calm Spirit became relevant it was to counter a hopelessly broken perk in Ultimate Weapon! Calm Spirit has to be the epitome of a niche perk in DBD. It's so situational that there's no guarantee that it can be even used in a game!
I think there are plenty of uses for the perk, but like most perks, they are situational. Calm Spirit is great against Doctor. But it's situational because you don't know who you are going against.
@@MagicLavenderTV Yeah but Calm Spirit is one of those perks that is more situational than others mainly because it only counters one particular killer. The problem is that you don't know what killer you'll get. :(
we plying tuness
My favorite perk that I don't have! It looks so cool and silly at the same time. It's also underrated, the ability to buff gen speed no matter how small is powerful. I just wish that the cooldown was shorter!
Maybe that is something they will look into in the future! But only time will tell!
This was a crazy perk when it was added. Brand new part with this was absolutely insane. Something I wanted to ask, what's the plan for a new perk being added that fits between perks you've already covered?
I will do them after a couple of months to give the BHVR team time to tweak the perk as necessary!
Ahh one of my favorite perks! If you're a gen jockey, a med kit lover, or a flashlight enjoyer, then this is a perk that is very useful. You can potentially get multiple uses out of your item through Bulit to Last!
The moment Buckle Up gets really good, it gets nerfed. Such as the life as a DBD perk. :(
Unfortunately it is the life of a DbD perk. Maybe in the future, it'll get another change!
@@MagicLavenderTV I hope so! :(
Honestly I prefer Background player, why wait for your teammate to wiggle out, when you can use that burst of speed to make plays in an instant. Breakout is a poor man's version of it.
I think they both can be used together to make some plays, when said plays fail, you have Breakout as a failsafe.
I was playing with my brother against a trickster and he died and I had breakout while me and my teammate were doing the last gen the killer was trying to hook in basement but my breakout helped the survivor being carried to basement escape lol we all escaped
@@RacingFN That's what we like to hear!
Breakdown is good and I'm tired of saying that it's not. The ability to deny a killer a perk for over 2 minutes is invaluable to me. The perfect anti tunnel perk! >:(
Extremely helpful as always!
These are so useful as a new player!
One of my favorite perks in the game! You can't imagine how much it saved me in multiple games! It find it an underrated healing perk especially when paired with We'll Make It!
It is an amazing healing perk and some people I know still have it in their loadout!
@@MagicLavenderTVAs they should! :D
sub because even though i've played this game forever, i literally don't know some of the perks or good metas. used a selfish loadout forever back when self-healing wasn't nerfed, now i run a gen-rush loadout.
Ahhh Borrowed Time. I remember this being the bane of my existence when I first played DBD. I would hook a survivor with 1 gen left, that Gen pops, the Survivor's teammate unhooks and I turn back to try to create pressure only for Borrowed Time to screw me. XD But as I played more, I learned to play around it but the perk (as well as the basekit borrowed time) is frustrating lol.
I didn't play DbD when it first came out. But I can see how frustrating that can be. I'm glad that it is in the state that it is in. Still a valuable perk in a build designed around it.
@@MagicLavenderTV I'm a newer fan but I did endure BT in its final days and it wasn't fun lol. What's worse, if you're survivor, it was a necessity considering that you could be facecamped. Glad to see that the rework worked.
Super informative as always!
Pretty good stealth perk, nice to run into the boon while being chased by the killer. Do wish that it also hides grunts of pain that way it can be even better. But the best part of Shadow Step is that it complements the other boons very well due to the ability to hide scratch marks as well as some stealth builds though that is dependent on the location of the totems.
This boon is pretty weak. You'll get more value out of Detective's Hunch than wasting time trying to light the boon.
Basically a boon version of Unbreakable. Pretty niche but can be good for anti slugging builds but they're more reliable ones in my mind.
As of patch 8.0.0 the movement speed is 150% movement speed, and and exhausts for 40/30/20 seconds.
As of patch 8.2.0 the duration of haste and blood pool supression lasts for 10/20/30 seconds.
As of patch 8.2.0, the penalty to skill checks will be at -15% instead of -25% setting the max bonus of 5 tokens to 60%.
As of patch 8.0.0, this perk will NOT heal you off of hook, and will NOT wake you up vs Freedy. On that note, im really liking this series!
Thanks for the update! Lots of perks are getting changed and I'll have to do a "Perk Changes" video in the near future to clarify the current perks description!
Hey! It's the Boon version of Made for This! XD. Too bad is kinda niche but it's still pretty useful. Do wish it could be buffed though perhaps it can go from 2 percent to 4 percent?
I think 4 percent speed increase is a good change!
