    Samsung has been operating chip factory in Austin TX since 1996 with more than 20,000 employees in the US and expanded while TSMC is just building new factory in AZ and caused chip shortage. Samsung is also building new factory in Taylor TX after Washington asked for help. Taiwanese company should not expect any tax break after they sent chips to China and used Chinese middle man to cause this chip shortage.

    S Korea must not give chip technology to anyone including the US. It's time for S Korea to distance itself and work more close with EU and Russia and prevent Washington from pressuring other countries to pressure S Korea. After Japan agreed on 1985 Plaza Accord, they experienced over 3 Lost Decades and treating S Korea like war criminal country like Japan which Washington has no rights. US count only 20% of world economy compare to over 50% back in 1980. US alone can't pressure S Korea like they did with Japan back in 1985.

  • @jeffstrong4580
    @jeffstrong4580 2 роки тому

    TSMC will be taken over by communist China because Taiwan has no will to fight against them. While China is getting stronger, Taiwan reduced draft from 2 years to 4 months barely enough for basic training and more than half of them said they have no will to fight China. US must be prepared for this and ban TSMC with rest of Chinese companies from international trades. TSMC must give up their technology to the US company and close down their factories.

    LoL…Chinese Americans will never see it coming even if it’s a train coming at them at full speed. Well, if getting pushed over and kicked in the face and then robbed in the street of San Francisco for no apparent reason did not ring the bell in their heads then it’s going to take something else.

    This will set a precedent! It will frighten most MNCs from setting up business in the USA. Legally, can any government demand MNC to give confidential data belonging to a company? IS this not prohibited under WTO rules? What if other governments demand the same from Samsung, or TSMC, or for that matter, any other Companies in the world. The international laws has the principle that if it is permitted for one country, the same should be permitted for other countries too, under the same conditions. I think logically speaking, it should be either prohibited for any government to demand a company's confidential data, or it should be allowed for all countries, under the same conditions of justification.

    The US publicly steals technology by forcing and demanding Chip companies like TSMC and Samsung to provide them company confidential data so they can learn and build for themselves. This is 100 times worst than China which the US accused China of stealing intellectual property. Why did China and Korea allow the US did that to their company?
