Update: turns out my suspicions were correct and the belt pulley is in fact worn at the top, I ordered a new belt pulley, gasket, and I found an NOS metal eureka fan so I’ll replace the belt pulley and gasket and upgrade from a plastic fan to a metal fan so that should improve durability and performance.

Update: I made some progress on balancing the blade and it's not perfect but it is within an acceptable range I'll just have to accept that I'll never get it perfect I don't even think these were balanced all that well from the factory but atleast I got it to where it runs normally and it doesn't rattle at all not even from off to high.

Soundèd normal to me. I have machines over 50 years old that still have their original pulleys

Note: I am aware the brushroll stalled out a few times in the video I believe I need to replace the belt pulley it's not super worn down but it is 40 years old so you never know I'll wait and see if it becomes more of an issue.

Balancing issue is at 4:00 any suggestions on how to fix that would be appreciated.

I fuckin hated this game as a kid. My mom would force me to play it, and I remember my character would somehow clip through the ground and I'd have to restart.

I remember when I was first introduced to this game in elementary. I think it was when I was in 2nd grade and I think a teacher introduced it to me and a few students. Unfortunately when I moved to a different school in 4th grade the game wasn't functional in the computer system. This game was somewhat discouraged but it surely beat all the other multiplication games

OMG someone actually uploaded the full gameplay of the original Times Attack! It was so hard to find videos of version 1.11 for such a long time. I appreciate you for uploading this nostalgic piece of Big Brainz history. It’s such a shame it was taken over by Imagine Learning back in 2016 but it’s nice to see it’s legacy be carried on by preservation projects. Oh and believe it or not, this wasn’t actually the original and first build of Timez Attack. In fact, that Tutorial you showed at the beginning of the video showcases some really old unreleased builds of what the Machine World would’ve looked like, and there was going to be other environments including in this version, but unfortunately got scrapped for unknown reasons. It would be kind of interesting to see the unreleased worlds and scrapped Machine World but that will probably never happen since Ben sold his company Big Brainz to Imagine back in 2016 like I was mentioning earlier. Anyway, thanks for showcasing this rare throwback and nostalgic game! You don’t see Timez Attack builds like this anymore nowadays. The newer builds that Imagine have suck and will never come as close to this one. This original one was truly a masterpiece and a work of art, and I’m so glad I was able to also obtain a full version copy of 1.11. I bought mine a while back from Amazon and it contains the same worlds. Whatever you’re doing nowadays and if you ever see this video Ben Harrison, thank you….thank you for helping me learn my multiplication Timez tables!
