Hi Paul, we might look at in the future but no plans to do one. The Wildtrak was purchased without any options like bullbar, long range fuel tank etc to keep it light however on the shakedown of the van we found the rear end a bit sloppy going over undulating roads so we put in ARB airbags and run them at 20psi. Weights are the issue and we travel very light in both car and van. @@ArtZoneTravels Thanks for the info, we're just starting out on the journey and need to buy a tow vehicle and also the van but we want to put most of the available cash into the van rather than the tow vehicle. Trying to work out if we can go up to the Sojourn or should stick with Peregrine. Thanks again!

Hi guys, we put in ARB airbags to firm up the rear. Being a V6 it has plenty of power with nearly 1,000 kg payload. We travel very light and the ZoneRV has composite panels which helps reduce the overall weight. See you on the road one day . Pete and Tani

Hi guys, thank you so much for your lovely comment on our videos. Sure did, the site we stayed at was Bunda Cliffs Camp 2. We got there early February and stayed 3 nights. It’s a windy place so a tip is to time it with the wind forecast of nil to low. Send us a pic when ya stay. Stay travels always, Pete and Tan

We absolutely love the combination of our car and caravan, so it’s great to hear you’re considering a similar setup! Honestly, everyone’s needs and preferences are different. After years of travel, we’ve learned to pack light. We keep the Ranger minimal, with just essential accessories, safety gear, and our art supplies in the tub. It’s the same approach with the van-we’ve reduced optional extras and only take what we truly need, plus minimal water. This keeps everything simple and efficient for us!

@@ArtZoneTravels Thanks heaps for the advice, I was considering a bit more weight in the Ranger so as to keep it heavier than the van so that the tail didn't wag the dog and still try to stay under the GCM.

@PhilipBritten we are purchasing a Peregrine as well and have also purchased a new Ford Ranger. I think one of the key considerations is to try not to add too many accessories to the car, like canopies etc, as this greatly reduces what you can tow behind you in order to stay under GCM. It gives me gr8 confidence to see @ArtZoneTravels towing the Sojourn with a Ranger, and their experience in packing as light as possible is gr8 advice. We may consider putting airbags on the Ranger if necessary, but I'm hoping to avoid doing suspension upgrades as they can be costly, and l have heard they can affect the vehicle's warranty. Goodluck with your future travels and I'd be interested to hear your advice and proposals in relation to the Ranger.

@@deankarenandrews Great news and advice & perhaps we'll all catch up somewhere in the outback on an adventure soon. i will need to definitely ad some weight to the Ranger though so will get the factory lift & suspension upgrade with the 300kg constant load option which comes from ARB. (all therefore under warranty ) possibly bull bar but no winch and just a very light weight canopy from Ute Master so that i can load the ute a bit more rather than the van being heavier than the ute - what do you think ?

@PhilipBritten sounds good. Just watch your GVM and GCM weights, as the weight adds up quickly. Good luck, and hopefully we'll see you out and about sometime.

Hi Joe, thanks so much. We love sharing our journey and tips. The combination the Ranger and Zone Sojourn performed so well for us travelling 20,000 kms this year. To be honest we wouldn’t get a bigger car. We love the ability to 4Wd without the van and still have an around town car to park in the cities. Cheers Pete
