Camping In The Snow
I took this video a year ago.
I had no idea that I will be waking up to snow. It was such an amazing feeling.
Enjoy!

Birthday In The Mountains
Переглядів 99Рік тому
I filmed this video in April when I had my birthday. It was amazing to hike in the Lake District. pitch my tent before dark and enjoy my birthday meal. I made traditional Estonian birthday food.. potato salad and a biscuit cake. It all did not go as smoothly as it looks. Whilst I was enjoying looking around at the summit, a slug decided to nibble on my potatoes. Also, when I made the cake it st...
Looking for snow. Did I find Any?

This was an exciting hike. Not everything went to plan. I planned to camp on Blea Rigg. I started my hike from Grasmere, went past Easdale Tarn (that was in snow a week ago) and when I got to Blea Rigg I saw Pavey Arch in the distance. It was too early to pitch my tent so I deiced to hike towards Pavey Arch because I know that Stickle Tarn was there! Last time I camped at Stickle Tarn was two y...
My Last Camp of 2022

For my last camp I decided to go on a "small mountain with great views". Loughrigg Fell never disappoints. I climbed up on different route this time and it was a lot more enjoyable. Previously I turned right from the Rydal caves but this time I turned left. It was good to see fellow campers up on the mountain. So, if I see you I will come and say Hello :) Thank you all for coming on my adventur...

Had a very windy day in the lakes but I managed to find a nice sheltered spot not far from Low Fell for my wild camping. And the Cumberland sausage was beautiful :D Music from Epidemic Sound.
A Three Day Hike In The Mountains
Переглядів 98Рік тому
A very pleasant three day hike on the quieter fells in Lakeland. Alfred Wainwright is a really popular writer, artist and hiker. He wrote a seven-volume Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells (1955-66). These books are loved by visitors and explorers of Lakeland alike. In his honour we call the the 214 English peaks in his book "Wainwrights. It is a very popular challenge for a hiker to "Bag" al...

I spent a lot of summers of my Childhood in prestatyn during the 90s. Made a lot of friends. Once we walked up to that antena on the hill. I suppose its changed a lot since then but i have a lot of good memories.
Hello from Russia, this place looks really cool, i must visit when i see the UK.
We have a vilage called the same name Anglsey in the Atlas Mountains near Marrakech the south of Morocco . the story says that the Romans brought soldiers from Anglsey in Wales to break a revolte of some berber tribes against them . Maybe welsh soldiers stayied in the area and gave the name to the vilage Anglsey .
How’s your foot Linda? Getting better I hope. 😊
Yes thank you. I am walking now and having physio. My foot is still stiff and painful but at least I can walk.
I've been coming here for decades - it's a truly magic area of the island, sea ,sky and legend😊

@@treklinda1309 ps. When building back up I did Yorkshire waterfalls. Short walks but spectacular . Aysgarth, Hardraw, Stainforth etc. 🙂
@@unclepeteswildadventures I actually have been thinking of starting in Yorkshire. Or Lancashire coast :)

Nice one Linda😀
Hello mi friend, an thank you for sharing this with us all. 👍🦉🔥🇬🇧
It's an amazing place, every chance we get to go there we look out for something new, but there is so much we will probably need to live to 200 years old to take it all in.
Brilliant. Thanks to to the Easter bunny and thanks to you for reuniting the phone with its owner. 👍
I put a link up about cows Linda. Just for you.

Fantastic pitch and a lovely outcome with the phone. What a treat those Easter bunnies laid on for you the following morning! Nice to see Eric again👍👍
Nice effort again Lynda, as ever good narration with surprises and storyline. I treet indeed. Harry
Its funny how Catbells is always busy, yet walk on to maiden Moor or even better High Spy and you can have total solitude. You found a lovely quiet spot and got a lovely time - lapse too, as well as getting an Easter delivery in the morning! Nice story about the mobile phone and you got some great Easter weather, we were there the week before and got rain 4 out of 5 days. Cheers Alan
