Well done! I never thought about how it resembles a harpsichord, but especially on the bridge pickup, it really does. The ebow certainly makes interesting sounds on it. ...and it's fascinating to consider slight detuning between pairs of strings to get a chorus effect. I get that there's modulation with chorus, but as you mentioned, it might be best to let the electronics do their magic rather that spend a lot of time with more failures than success. SO, it's been three years since this video was made, and I'm a fellow who has run across some inexpensive electric 12 string guitars, including the Gear4Music kit version of this instrument. While I'm assuming it's the same material, do you still have it, and what is your opinion after owning and playing it for a period of time? Thanks in advance for any reply, and thank you for doing this to begin with.

Thank you very much for your tutorial. Very clear und logical. But... I dont understand the relations between - wave lane - wave sequence - program Also a question about the program: When I load a Single Multisample or a Wave Sequence on A, it shows on the layer programm "Init program". Why? Same issue: On my presets, it shows on Layer programs on one performance on A "Organ1, but on Single Multisample i shows "Syn: White Pad". Why it shows not the same? And more difficult: If I change the program, than the multisample change. If I come back to the program "Organ1", now than it plays "Organ1". Thank you!

Interesting but what's the use of an arpeggiator that isn't consistently rhythmic? I can't see myself using any of that in a song.

Nice. My wife plays bass and I am thinking of playing Bass. The 5 string is a good choice because I play alot of metal in Standard tuning but I also play in Drop C, so with a 5 string Bass you get access to alternative tunings without needing to down tune with a 4 string. I think I am going to get a 5 string after Xmas

I think the Fender Telecaster XII sounds even nicer than the Strat XII. There's something about the ferro-magnetic interaction between the Tele's steel bridge plate and bridge pickup that lends itself very nicely to a Tele in 12 string form. In a totally separate review of a Strat XII, the owner changed the pickups to these lower output but clearer sounding custom wound Slider Strat pickups, made in Australia, which made that Strat XII come alive with a noticeably more chiming sound.
