Congratulations to anyone who played this game entirely. I couldn't get past the beginning. There's something inherently terrifying about SH3. I could beat SH1 when I was a kid, SH2 when I was a teen, but adult me can't deal with SH3. I dunno why. There's just something disturbing about it. Which makes me love it even more.
I think it's the sound design that makes it disturbing. That screaming noise that the flying monsters make gets to me.
I played it as a kid and let me tell you, as a 14 year old it fucked me up seeing someone around my age throwing up a fetus. I had to try to replay it later on (I found out by spoilers and couldn't finish it until I was a little older)

I wouldn't say it's scary, more intense, I rarely get frightened by horror games but the intense nature can get to anyone, especially in the last part

this makes me cry everytime..... i cant imagaine just finding out that you have a purpose in the world u live in, the person u looked up to KNEW about your fate and didnt tell u but just decided to guide you and teach you right. and the music just brings the moment together. i cant imagine the feelings and thoughts that were going through her head as she was being exposed to all this.

Well, I'll say this, and no disrespect to the original actors here, but the remaster's updated voices are better. The only problem is, in the remaster, the lip syncing is very off in certain cutscenes. But again, the voice acting is better.
Heather Morris' voice(the original voice of Heather) was way better.
@@ibrahimihsan2090 I disagree. The actress in the remaster did a better job. But konami screwed up on the lip syncing a bit in some parts.
@@LandofBrickForests Buddy, if you mean sounding more realistic in a few scenes(cuz in other scenes, they're terrible), then I guess but overall I think the original VA for Heather was great. She sounded totally like how one would assume the character would sound. The HD voice actress gives her a more teen drama voice. Plus, as far as I've seen, the HD collection made them have many famous voice actors play the roles of the characters which is really distracting(I am talking about Kirk Thornton, Laura Bailey and Yuri Lowenthal). Since the original VAs weren't as famous, it increased the charm.
@@ibrahimihsan2090 Don't get me wrong, if the new voice wasn't ever added to the game, i wouldn't have a problem playing the game. I'd still be playing it much as i did. The original isn't THAT bad to the point where it could stop me from playing. Also, i agree that bringing actors who aren't famous to do character voices can add charm to games. And it can be a nice change of pace too.
