Good afternoon. We just did a college tour today with our daughter. She loved it! How is the African American community there?

Nothing personal towards you, but why is a predominantly white institution an issue? I wouldn't be concerned as a half white half mexican person if I attended a predominantly black institution as long as they had a good reputation. Meaning no theft, no violence, and no scandal issues going on at the institution. I don't understand the concern about the race of the student and faculty population?

I think best fit in my humble opinion goes to the first girl, all her accessories paired up with her outfit complemented each other very well. I have social anxiety too and I’m a freshman in college. I started EFT tapping with a program called the Social Confidence club and there’s nothing that’s helped my anxiety like EFT tapping therapy and this program. I highly recommend looking it up and trying it out as well as the youtube channel called Social Anxiety Solutions.

it's really easy to avoid social situations in college and the best advice I can give whenever u hear the voice in your head telling you not to do something, DO IT, trust me you will feel alot better about yourself if you actually tried rather than just running away.

I went to this school. The school was hella racist lol. Even the professors are ass. The school is kinda meh and overrated. I transferred out to a diverse school. Not only im more happier, I am able to save money for grad school.

Useful video. Doing public speaking courses are very effective. To feel better reduce negative thoughts with a simple practice. Your breathing is closely related to the brain [mind] and gives good relief from stress-anxiety. To relax sit on a chair or lie down, neck straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. With daily practice the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Do the practice without any expectations. When taking a walk, at office, college, when reading, before sleep etc observe your breath sensations. Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Reduce negative media and avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes--Counsellor.
