      That’s a real bummer! Maybe there’s something else that could be causing the issue. Are you getting water in the door?

    • @karunald
      @karunald 2 дні тому

      @@Iannovich Only thing I can think of is the fill tube assembly which includes heater to keep ice from forming in the tube/spigot above the ice tray. If heater is faulty water can freeze and block. This is a $42 part thankfully. But first I might try pulling it out to see if it's frozen. Hate to randomly throw another Part at this. If that isn't the culprit maybe some scary electronics area/control board type thing which is where I'd wash my hands of it. Oddly, the damn thing gave me a few trays of ice today out of the blue. This tends to never last. I think no matter if I get it working or not, it might be time for a Nugget ice maker

      @@karunald If you go for pull it out and look, let me know if it works. The water 'only on test' (and then randomly) is weird, so I see your logic and you're definitely approaching it right. Nothing worse than throwing part after part at something only to still have to scrap it. Oh, maybe one thing worse. Fixing it and then breaking something else while putting it back together. I did that with an LCD tv that had bad backlighting. Got it all fixed then cracked the screen during reassembly... I went from elated-and-proud to crushed-and-ashamed in the course of about 20 minutes.

    As someone who has plugged an 8-outlet power board into another 8-outlet power board when I had too many devices, I can see a use for this sort of board. BUT I would be wary about the current being drawn through a single outlet/circuit if you were using anything close to all the plugged in devices simultaneously. I bought a current meter that I sometimes plug a 6 or 8 outlet board into, but it would be nice to see boards with that many outlets come with a built in total current display (is also nice to be able to see how much extra current is drawn when different plugged in devices are turned on).

    • @Iannovich
      @Iannovich Місяць тому

    • @Iannovich
      @Iannovich 2 місяці тому

      If you're using a strainer like this, you could just not let it strain for as long. I like it super thick. I started doing it that way when I was making a lot of Tzatziki and the extra thickness helped combat the moisture of the cucumbers. I ended up developing a taste (so to speak) for it to be super thick. If your're making the yogurt from scratch, you could heat it for less time and that should keep it from getting too thick. • @Iannovich
      @Iannovich 2 місяці тому

      It could be the wiring is close together and the signal is bleeding over. That happened to me until I lowerred the sensitivity. We also completely replaced and rewired our box when we upgraded it for an extra 220v circuit. It doesn’t do that any longer.

    • @Kimland1
      @Kimland1 2 місяці тому

      @Iannovich but why would it not beep on the correct switch as well? I repeated this test at 3 outlets, and the result was the same - when only one breaker caused beeps, it was not the correct one for the socket. But when I press the GFI button, the correct circuit breaker trips.

    Try this first: Once the waste toner box is removed from the printer, use rubbing alcohol and a cloth to clean the three bare contacts on the exterior of the box, right side. Then, do the same with their corresponding connectors inside the printer. They look like circular metal loops. Clean the contacts, let them dry a minute or so, then put everything back into place. Fire up the printer and from your PC send a document to print. If the document prints and no error message shows up in the printer’s screen, you’re good to go. Over time, these contacts can get dirty or slightly corroded at which point they trigger the message to replace the waste toner box. And so, a two minute cleaning of the contacts returns their ability to communicate with the printer and saves you a $75 expense. If the waste toner box message persists, you can try one more thing before you spend money to replace it: Remove the old toner from the box. There are vids in this section that show you how.

      Yes! You are right! I had actually done this with the old toner box last time I got the message. Cleaning the contacts didn't help, so I had just removed the old toner (and recycled it). This time I decided to just buy this alternative to the OEM because it was so much cheaper (and cleaner). Great suggestion.

      Mine sound surprisingly good. I mostly use them for flights. I accidentally left them behind on a trip earlier this year and was forced to buy a replacement pair at the airport (for some reason I have to have ANC in order to hear in flight entertainment). The new ones (SkullCandy Hesh ANC) were not nearly as good at noise cancellation and I gave them to my son as soon as I got home. I REALLY missed these guys. I've got a new trip coming up next week, so I'll be using these again several times over the next few weeks. I'll report back if I notice any degradation.

    I've been using the Coffee Team GS for several years. The programming is simple and intelligent. Easy to clean. Coffee produced is good. We like a variety of Starbucks and Seattle's Best coffees, especially the dark beans. Highly recommended based on our experience.

      Couldn't agree more! I had a couple of Cuisinart Grind n Brew models and I liked them, but they didn't have nearly the versatility this one does. It's a keeper.

      Yeah, I'm always surprised by the number of cables and chargers that don't actually perform to their specs. I have a video coming where I try a 140w power supply and (spoiler) it doesn't put out more than 96w... even one of the two cables it comes with only works up to 96w (the other _can_ hit 140w if used with another charger though).

      My juction box had wiring that was really close together and that was skewing the results unless I turned up (or down) the sensitivity. You can actually see me adjusting it with my thumb in the video. It turns out that that panel was depricated (and apparently has been since around the time it was installed in the 70s. We actually replaced the panel with a brand new panel so that we could install an EV charger on a 60amp circut, and the new panel is dead on.

      It came from amazon. It's still going strong, so I'm pleased with it. Here is the link from the description. If you're not in the US, it might not work, but if you let me know I can find a link from the same manufacturer for you. geni.us/6y7b. Heads up! Links provided or mentioned in this video are affiliate links, I will earn a small commission, but only if you make a purchase using them. No extra charges are incurred by you. Thank you!

      This case has held up WAY better than the official Apple one I have on my work phone. They were both purchased at around the same time and are both used and treated exactly the same. The Apple one has been a heck of a disappointment. It's peeling and looks a mess. This one has some wear to the bottom, but compared to the Apple one, I can't complain at all. The light color isn't even showing any dinginess.

    free CCS fast charging? is there really such a beast? and that adapter costs 250 dollars.

    • @Iannovich
      @Iannovich 6 місяців тому

      Where are you located that you're seeing it listed for $250? I usually see it as around $99 and I've seen it as a lightening deal lately for as low as $65. We have are lucky enough to have several locations around here that have free DC charging so that we can use the CCS adapter. There are a couple of casinos, a shopping center and a few wineries... my suspicion is that that is why they are limited to 50 kw. They're nice enough to give us the free fast charging, but they don't want it to be toooo fast, so that we continue to shop or play.
