I disagree that 7min Drill was lack luster or that Cole felt that way. He apologized for how he approached the diss track. Hey that was my recommendation on your Palaces reaction. Thanks for checking it out. Got a few more “less popular” songs you should check out. Some older ones and mixtape songs. Lupe The Killer Form follows function Go To Sleep Failure Twilight Zone Roc-a-fella Yall Pressure (feat Jay Z) Joaquin Phoenix Friend of the People Dead Presidents Freestyle And obviously the SLR (Super Lupe Rap) songs. There’s a lot more good ones but the album ones I feel need to be listened to in sequence. Like the whole The Cool album. Or Tetsuo and Youth. Even single songs like Mural is first then Mural Jr comes before Ms Mural, and those are on separate albums.

Couple of things, first, it looks like you could use a comment to help with the algorithm so here you are my friend. Second, this song and video are kind of incredible. I've been a Will Smith (ala The Fresh Prince) since the mid 80s. Not a joke. Corny is the word ALOT of people have used to describe his music over the years. He's not corny. If you look past the image and fact that he's not rapping about being hard or gangsta you realize his pen game is ridiculous. He's in my top 5 rappers ever and that's saying alot, I know. I'm not oblivious to the fact of how serious such a statement is. But it's MY top 5. His delivery and storytelling have ALWAYS been something special. He's got a whole song about being chased by Freddy Kruger and also fighting Mike Tyson, in his prime. And they're well written and delivered. He's smart with the lyrics. He can take you to a place you didn't know you needed to be. "Summertime" is literally ALOT of people's favorite song about what summer is about. People are going to disagree with my opinion and I'm OK with that. And Joyner ain't no slouch either. This duo is top notch. The only thing that would make this tag team better is if Will came back as The Fresh Prince, pulled Jazzy Jeff back in. Joyner, Jeff and The French Prince? That's a no lose situation. Modern Hip Hop isn't ready for that. Good stuff man. Keep pushing.
