are the power books old enough that they needed to be plugged in the wall instead of having a battery?
Yes, no battery survived until today and replacing them makes no sense to me as I don't want to use them daily (and replace the battery again in several years).
peace be upon you sir
So epic.
You can
I had those old apple computers then they all broke
whats the music in this video?
@@ppieczul thanks

Isn't that the "NO RAM FOUND" sound?
So this is why i cant find any on ebay!

I'm not sure if this is relevant to the 540. I'm trying to identify what an OPTIMAC OPXK488 accessory does as I can't anything on it, even looked through your website, which by the way is amazing. I was wondering if you have any knowledge on this? Thank you for what you do.
Hi. Where did you take this model number from? Do you have the device? Optimac was a line of scsi drives, tape drives etc. Maybe it is one of them? I would suggest to ask at one of fb vintage Mac users group. Thanks for the good words about website, it is great you enjoy it.
I'm getting my 8024 soon... totally rusted down to the ground, dirty as hell- but I hope to reactivate that beast! :)

I really love old apple computers. they are so interesting.
they sucked lol
I like old computers too
My oldest sister had one of the first versions of these laptops and had a software programmed on it that she could type with and the software would speak for her. Unfortunately it long ago stopped working. I wish I remembered everything that was on that computer because all of it at least to me was very interesting to see.
