how heavy of a door will those hinges work with?
Just drill a hole in top of bookcase allowing access to the adjustment screw
Beat it with a sledge. Those swivels are shite.
Why are you comparing a penetrant to vegetable oil.
just bought one, it's a beast
how long did this take ?
I came to this video hoping to see if i needed to hardwire the hood or just plug it in, which would have necessitated cuts in my cabinet, but the video made no mention of powering the unit. This is a failure of presentation. Thumbs down!
This guy knows how to party! Not one but TWO Apples to Apples Party Boxes! Great video btw
All you had to do was drill a hole in the top of your door to access the screw. Just add a color matched plug after you're done.
Would this only work for a ceramic grill? Is there any adjustment that can be made to house a metal
That turned out great, I think that's an excellent project even for a beginner DIYer. If you would like some constructive criticism, the video felt a little too corporate/impersonal to me. I know I connect more to videos where it seems more from the "youtubers" perspective instead of as if a company had a video commissioned. I'm not sure if I'm explaining it well, but some examples of what I mean would be HAXMAN, The Funny Carpenter, Stud Pack, and Vancouver Carpenter, etc. They're pretty loose with the style they present in but still provide relevant info/sometimes specific instruction on how to do a specific thing. UA-cam is pretty flexible and you can add your own style/personality into pretty much every aspect of a video(script, editing, jokes, etc). You have a lot going for you, you're easy to follow, respect the viewers time, the video is structured well, and even included good tips that weren't strictly "necessary" but would save someone that didn't know to think of them some headache/time figuring it out. I'm not sure if you're an employee of Home Improvement & Repair or if you own/started the website/magazine/company but in my opinion, making the youtube channel more "yours" would go a long way. But if that's not what you're going for or you don't prefer making that type of content, definitely do what you like best! Thanks for the video!
Great info and tutorial, learned a lot about doing this correctly the first time based on your trial and error. Thanks for sharing this video again great information.
How heavy is this rangehood? Is four screws enough to hold it?
Aren't shutters supposed to actually shut?
Did you add any poly product after painting? If so which one? I have followed your steps and done painting with a satin enamel acrylic paint from Behr.
I like review😊
I’ll be starting this probably next month in my basement very great video
Ok
how'd you get the duct removed?
Model 650p or 550p ?
where can I find the metal bracket?
Hardware store
Planer doesn’t create lots of dust useless reviews 😊
Do you think directly glueing the battens would cause the shutter to fail due to expansion!?
Thank you. and please tell me what kind of wonderful music was used? What kind of music group is this?
Hello there! The main reason the video goes viral is video SEO, High ranking keyword, and organic promotion of your video's targeted audience. Your SEO score is absolutely Low and the video has no high-ranking keywords. All you have to do is get views and subscribers 1. Video SEO (90+ SEO Score) 2. Organic promotion Top social media 3. High ranking tag setup (keyword, hashtag) Best regards Thank you
Let’s hope ppl wake up to this snake oil. Let’s see it compared to another similar LUBRICANT not something used to remove rusted bolts
This is just what I needed also! I have an old aluminum window that has daunted my demolition mojo. This helped!
Nice, looking forward to your product.
Good information thanks brother
What makes cabinet paint different than wall paint
I appreciate your carpentry skills, but I don't understand why the length of the shutters is the only measurement. Everything I've seen about shutters recommends making each shutter one half the width of the window, so that even if they're only decorative and not operational, they appear as if they could cover the window. All the shutter-fabrication instructions I've seen only address the length.
WD 40 isn't a lubricant. Its a water displacer.
You pressed the weight down with the wd40 lol cheating ass
I would like to have a house large enough to have space for that.
The whole point is to use that in a house that doesn't have space 😄.
@@clockworkNate for me, a house that doesn't have space has a foldable or telescopic ladder. This one needs 2x to 3x space in the hallway.
Looks like shit to me.😮
💀
Yup.....that'll look just great in my hall ceiling.....😮....!!?
Great video! Thanks for sharing the challenges. Table looks great!
Finally a youtube video with some powerful music. Nice build - good tips - thanks!
Awesome video! Very informative! Just a quick question, what did you use for primer??
Nice I need the 4.5" version of this
This is a GREAT video, thanks! Deserves more views and likes. Exactly what I needed.
You could of drilled a hole through the top of the bookshelf and used a small screw driver to adjust the top hinge pin. Then you wouldn't of had to move the hinge around.
From everything I have found online, you are absolutely CORRECT! That is the way it is meant to be done.
I’m using the same Wagner sprayer for my cabinets and I’m getting an orange peel like finish. Any suggestions on the sittings?
After you spray on, dry roll it. De-lint the roller first.
Great video. I'm dealing with the same thing only brick siding (face palm)
Remove the glass, make a cut through the frame edge, peel the frame out like an onion, seal the space, insert window, shim level, screw into frame, fill cavity with backer rod, sealant joint (big stretch) apply sand to sealant before it dries to replicate grout.
@@TheSeriesofTubes thank you for this reply. My issue is "peel the frame out like an onion," part. As you can see in this video, the window nailing flange is trapped behind the siding (in my case, brick) ... so I would either need to fully detach the window from the flange and leave the flange in place, or somehow attempt to rip the flange out, which is sort of impossible since the flange nails are obstructed by the brick. I think I will need to leave old metal flange in place and work around it when installing the new windows. Also, when you say "seal the space," in your mind what does that entail? I have brick siding, 2" air gap, then existing sheathing. Again, really appreciate your insights
The Fireball Hardtail is the best vise.
By far!
Huge
These Bosch saw are just no where near professional level saws. They have a design / build defect which results in inaccurate cuts. There is no way to resolve it; no amount of calibrating will result in an accurate cut. Most happy to share a video illustrating the problem. My advice is don't buy a Bosch saw.
Awesome work.. Keep it up. We need these ideas in these times
Have used both styles which do you think is better for cutting the rails or the glide. Only the glide available here in Ireland 🇮🇪 in 18v
The rails
Wilton makes a great vice, but has lousy shipping boxes. I just bought one of Amazon Warehouse Deals marked down. They had a few of them for sale used, saying packaging damaged. The vice arrived brand new except the locking bolt on the side of the Vice was broken in half due to it being dropped and not being packaged well. I was able to use a screwdriver as an easy out and bought a metric 1” bolt at Home Depot. Great vice, but if you order one be prepared for it to arrive damaged
