The Cummins ISV engine is known for not being all that reliable.... I'm curious if this truck is still out there and if it's had any major service done 5 years later.
Why was it SO short lived
I had it for 3 years or so & wanted something different, still my biggest regret to date

They were originally going to bring it to market with Nissan, but got cold feet and went with the European engine. Nissan reached out to Ford, and Toyota to take Rams place and they declined. I wish this line would've continued, these are awesome trucks and we're a real threat to "The Big 3" half ton segment...hence why they all put diesels in their half ton lineups.
@@b_rad8089 The Titan actually sold so poorly in 2008 that the original plan for the 2009 models was to sell rebadged Dodge Rams with the Nissan logo on them. So it almost kind of makes sense that Nissan got the Cummins motor instead of Dodge
In the end the eco diesel became the better engine. I think cummins just dropped the ball on the design of this one. Which is a shame to see them screw up like that with the good track record they keep.
@@b_rad8089ram ecodiesel was out before the nissian and they didnt use the cummins because the point of having a diesel in a half ton was to have better fuel economy

If the EGR is still on it then it’s not deleted, you did a DPF delete not a complete delete.
The tunes deactivate the EGR, so it no longer uses it, still counts as a delete
