Bucket dentistry, Cat teath are sharp and probably the best. Having been bitten by mine on more than once I can definitely agree with that. 😂
@@everestyeti Aha I called that "digger dentistry" when i shared it on FB 🤣 Yeh those teeth are nice, bigger than the bolt on ones for sure.
The go cart has been reserected, a bit like Dr Who not the same but different. 😂 I watch a u-tuber from Estonia called Ants Pants, when I saw those rocks I immediately thought about him, he's currently building loads of rock walls by hand. Shame the go kart couldn't be resurrected, but I suppose thats just as well as I don't think, even if straightened that chasis would have been safe. 👍
@@everestyeti Yeh the kart wasn't up to much even before the wall fell on it. Ah I've seen that fella before, he does interesting stuff.
Nice! 👌🏼 Great 👍 Work!
@@TBAKATrueBrownii Thanks
Nice job, nice little breaker ideal fit for your digger. 👍
@@everestyeti Yeh it's a real handy size actually. Think it's more suited to a 1.5t machine but it still gets the job done.
warm water pressure blasting works wonders for oil- and greased up parts
@@Igeltod 100% the hotter the water the better in my experience.
Nice vehicle, I was looking at buying one a couple of years ago as I like Mitsubishi's, unfortunately it was an inch too tall for my wife to get into so we went for a Yeti instead. Like your spring depression tool, T cut will get those marks off, I know because the same has happened to me. 🤬👍
@@everestyeti Yeh I think I have a liking to Mitsubishi's myself, my friend has just got a lovely MK1 project. Ah now a yeti would be a fine machine aswell. Yeh a buff will take that out no problem, it really needs a proper paint correction but that's a job for another day 😅
Good video did you buy the lift second hand nice pick up I have a 94 hilux brilliant 4wd
@@deranocasper Yeh came from a mechanic local to a friend of mine, actually the guy I fitted the new lift afew videos ago. Awesome, old Hilux are hard to beat.
@@Steven_R_Taylor was it 3 phase
@@deranocasper No it's a rare factory single phase hydraulic one. Pretty nice lift.
You have a good kit now I am still hunting for a 1.5/2.7 ton digger I went and looked at a indespension challenger trailer in England
@deranocasper Yeh, can never have enough kit 🤣I had a 8*4 challenger for the 1.5t. It was a good trailer.
2mm out, do you have an inbuilt lazer eye level? Like the lift, going to useful for all sorts of vehicles. 👍
@@everestyeti I guess just years of practise with the wrong or no equipment 🤣 Yeh my buddy has been using that lift alot.
Ok so how many Steven hammer blows is it to newtons, just checking for the next time I have to tighten up something without a manual. 😂🤣 Great job, that little digger should last for a good few years. 👍

Hello I have one of these would like to know do you remember what the fuel pressure setting should be
@@robrmmechanical1231 Hi. I can't remember exactly but I think around the 8 bar mark wouldn't be far away. You want the front to get cherry red but not so hot that it will start to distort the metal
You don’t need rams on the tipper. Just bench press it you big fecker. 😂😂 I really enjoyed that mate . First time watching one of your vids I will be subscribing.
@@deanwelsh5702 Hahaha 🤣 Cheers! Plenty more to come if you're into that sort of thing!
At 19.35 min he says: "Anyone's still splitting wood with an axe needs their head examined!" NOW JUST LOOK AT THIS BIG HEADED, ARROGANT GUY ! 1) Not anyone can afford a log splitter. 2) Not anyone wants to waste fuel for splitting wood after already having used a combustion engine driven chainsaw. 3) Not anyone wants to be surrounded by stinking exhaust gases after already having used a stinking chainsaw. 4) Not anyone wants to have even more loud engine noise after already having had a lot of noise while working with a chainsaw. 5) Some see making firewood as a welcome distraction and/or even a good exercise. 6) Standing upright and splitting those big wooden discs with a wedge and a common 2 kg lump hammer is quite easy, fast and enjoyable. I even do this with 1 m long upright standing log pieces. Just like cutting a cake into pieces but using wedges instead of a knife. Afterwards I cut the splitted 1 m sections with my quiet, light and nevertheless strong 230 V electric chainsaw, a rocking circular saw or sometimes even by hand with my 90 cm long bow saw/hacksaw. It seems that I simply have more power than this guy, although I'm 61 years old!? 😁 ;-)
@@Chr.U.Cas1622 I've split plenty with an axe, and that splitter is by far the easier option.
@Steven_R_Taylor Obviously you haven't read my comment! Because if you had, you could've realised that I don't use an axe and I don't recommend to use an axe!!! If any I use a splitting mallet but only to assist if absolutely neccassary. Best regards, luck, health and wisdom.
@@Chr.U.Cas1622 I can see you are very passionate about splitting by hand, which is commendable. Afew things to note, I rented that for about £60 a day, fuel less than £10. Most of that wood was seriously knotty so would have been almost impossible to split by hand in any kind of decent time frame. I split the same amount afew years back by hand and it took lots of time and energy. I don't have lots of free time on my hands so I decided £70 and a day to split up years worth of firewood was worth the investment. Working quickly and efficiently is always something I try to do, time is money, thanks for watching, and it doesn't matter how you get there but we can all agree burning the logs in your fire or stove is the best bit!
@Steven_R_Taylor Okay, Sir, I see your point too. 2) Please nevertheless kindly allow me to suggest some things that might be better for you, your purse and the environment: Next time maybe try out or buy an electric hydraulic log splitter (no gasoline/petrol exhaust gases, no ear protection needed!). If possible try/buy one that works in both ways (splits one log and when going backwards, splits another). Buy or fabricate a kind of X- addition respectively splitting cross to put on the splitting wedge. With that you will be able to save a ton of time because not every piece of wood needs to be handled so often. Throw or let fall the splitted pieces into a wheelbarrow instead of a bag/bucket that has to be lifted from the ground. Or at least put the bag(s)/bucket(s) in a wheelbarrow. Please make absolutely sure that the log splitter sits high enough so that you don't have to bend over, not even a bit. Because that's what wears you out and damages your back in the long run. Please don't ask me why I know = I'm always good as a bad example. 🙈 Thanks for your attention. Sincerely yours.
@@Chr.U.Cas1622 Yeh I agree with that, but the pile I was making was handier just throw up by hand, a narrow would have been no use. Oh I know a cross head would have saved alot of time but Im not doing this every day, if I was I would have designed and built my own Ultra processing machine 🤣 I just wanted to get it done as quick as possible. They had been winking at me for years every time I was in that field 🤣
What an absolutely stupid person you are, You never use starting agents on Petter engines, These are High compression diesels. Your doing more damage to the engine then good doing what you did to it, These engines suffer from stuck injectors and Clearly you have no idea about them in the slightest, Okay fine you want a challenge but do your research before doing totally stupid things to the equipment and causing more damage then good, I can not remember the number of Lister and Petter engines I have seen over the years damaged by these methods. And the fact that you state she will burn a bit of water when bleeding the fuel pumps is absolutely ludicrous, These engines will NOT burn water and just make the beyond difficult to start once there's water in the fuel. Your drive shaft yokes are not lined up correctly.
@@EvanMcGill-ji6qo It's all factory, and I would argue if they were lined up perfectly then the CV joint could bind eventually due to not needing to articulate.
Nice job on the Wingit, bang out a few dents give it a fresh coat of paint install a new seat and shift knob and it will be around for your boys to use when they take over the farm.
@@LightningFabrication Thanks! Yeh I do plan on revisiting the dumper; engine refresh, new seat, new paint, she will be a fine machine then. Thanks for watching.
Good bit of kit, definitely needed something with that amount of pressure to split those rounds. Like you say you're going to have plenty to burn. 👍
@@everestyeti Definitely, some of them split clean but most of them were knotty and needed the hydraulics.
Good video & the ramps are a great job. You should really reverse the EX up the ramps & use the bucket to push, that would avoid slipping !! 😉👍

got a question for you, do you like living on the edge ? 🤭and it must have been a really cheap buy if you didn't even bother checking fluids
Yes and yes, well I topped up the engine before I tried to start it. Never considered the gearbox I would have to admit, although clearly it would have made no difference 🤣
@@Steven_R_Taylor I was more worried about what was inside that fuel cell 😄
@picklesgherkin what fuel cell?
@@Steven_R_Taylor wasn't that the fuel cell you were pumping all that goo out of?
@picklesgherkin Oh I get ya, yeh was the diesel fuel tank at the start of video. Drained the hydraulic tank later on.
Thanks again Steven. Another entertaining video. Keep up the great work. I just tightened the teeth bolts on my Kubota backhoe. I think I would have preferred the style of bolts you had. Mine were just regular hex head on the bolts and nuts.
@@utubota5522 Thanks! You would prefer the weld on ones or the type that I cut off? The ones I took off were pretty good other than being stumps.
You have more experience than i, so i will learn from you. I saw those other bolts when i replaced a dozer blade cutting edge. I just watched another You Tuber weld his pins in, which I thought would make repairs a little more difficult. However, he lost a tooth to a missing pin, which cost him 75 USD. Thanks again for great content
@utubota5522 Cheers! Yeh I think if you're digging through rough stone alot it may pay to weld your pins in. Those ones I'm using do seem to be a solid retainer for the pin so pretty happy with them. I think the ones I cut out may just have worn down flush on the heads.
