I'm looking to become a csm and I have years of customer service but thought I was gonna have to go to school or buy a course when I already have transferable skills. Can you go into more detail about the high stress parts of the job. I'm in sales ( businesses development representative) right now and looking to go into CSM to reduce the stress. I don't think it would be as stressful since bdr is strictly quota driven.

I appreciate your accountability but YOU did not lose the largest company, your COMPANY did. If that were the case, people wouldn't be writing so many LinkedIn posts questioning the value of CS. We as CSM's are not singularly responsible for churn no matter what anyone says.

Amazing! So many other articles and videos claiming to have "best tips on" or be the "definitive guide to" creating a great resume just regurgitate and rehash the same tired, generalized, unhelpful information we've all seen/ read/heard before. Not you. Your video provides a wonderfully concise, practical guide to not only what should be included, but also how to include the information and most importantly why. I've been struggling to understand why my applications are getting form letter responses despite a career history packed with experience and success. Thank you so much for this video and finally helping me see what is now so obviously missing! Just wish I'd found this sooner.

Do you have any specific tips for someone transitioning from upper level Registered nurse to CSM(specifically healthcare related)? I believe that I have the soft skills and many of the hard skills that would easily be transferable to a CSM career but I really don't have many metrics or quantitative results to call on for my resume.

Great presentation! Totally agree about the interviewing experience over networking. I have applied to 46 jobs, with 14 rejections and no interview invitations. I tailored my CV to the JD, listed the accomplishments, and checked with the ATS tools, which confirmed that my CV looks good. What would be your recommendations on what I should change/improve in my resume to make it on the interview invitation?
