hello, i had low speed it seems on my honda clone engine mounted on pressure washer so it would die each time id use the gun, so i did screw the black screw at 01:04 to increase the speed, now i can use the gun, i get water but seems like the engine then goes on low speed, i did something wrong ?
I’ve cleaned out my carb and when I give it throttle it still cuts off
I just got mine and it's not staying on

Hey does anyone know why the MB200 196cc engine runs good with no air filter but when I put the air filter on the motor bogs. I cleared all the jets and tried turning the gas off to see if the engine would run better after it ran out of gas to see if it was getting too much fuel and I also checked the spark plug but it was dry and white like it was lean. I had been running it without the air filter is why it was lean most likely but I just am having a hard time finding the problem and it seems like it should be an easy fix. Do any of you recommend tips and tricks on how to put on or take off certain things to make the motor and carb more reliable?

I'm having lean conditions when applying any throttle on a stage 1 build. I'm running. 037 main jet, runs fine with stock breather. When I hook up the stage 1 Air intake kit it cuts out when giving it gas. Not sure why it's running so lean, and I did the header with emulsion tube also.

Thanks for the video. I have a new tilloston 212 out of the box and it's only running strong half choked. If I open the choke it'll run but as soon as its throttled it bogs and dies. Fresh gas in it..no air leaks I've found. wtf man..? I can't seem to figure out why.
@leap frog I have the same issue with a Tilly 212, did you ever try this or figure out the issue ?

There should be screw to adjust idle mixture . My gx200 clone has it . I dont know if your carb is with emission regulation and screw is sealed

I have a predator 212 and it keep dying every I start it , I got it from a guy online a d it worked good until 2 days it started doing it
Clean your carburetor? You didnt really give me anything
The tank was full of rust so I cleaned it and the carburetor out, but I didnt take out the jets.
The first time I tried to start it it only stayed on for 15 seconds and now everytime I try it shuts off
@@JesusRodriguez-gu5rk yea it's probably got a blockage. Gas line may be stopped up
Yo I need help. Mines idling fine but when I give it gas it dies. It’ll let me go 4 mph but if I go any more it bogs and dies. Not cops. Bogs

@@aricmiinch9131 nah it's most likely air/fuel related issue. You are either getting too much fuel or not enough air. Your jet could have fallen out and is allowing it to pull too much fuel in. Not likely but possible. You need to pull the carb off and inspect it first
i changed the governor out and the engine wont rev all the way
You removed it?
@@Kaison1 lol got to remove the governor if you want real fun lol. I'm at stage 3+ of building. If you want higher rpms governor removal Is just the start
Reason gps and omb dont talk about it because people will just buy a new carb from them

MAn,I got an after market chinese carb for my 6.5 clone and the idle jet is brass not plastic and has two holes cut cross at the bottom only,i have surging and wonder if i drill them bigger if that would help sir?
Probably. Wouldn't go too big though. Start small

@@Kaison1 I drilled it out two sizes bigger with micro bits and it runs a ton better,i need to go one more size,so it took alot more than I though..also I bet the main jet could use a drilling too lol. Thanks for the help brother!!

Can anyone help me I recently dropped my predator 212 mini bike on the side where the intake was and what happened was a little oil leaked out of the valves but I tried to start it right after but it would only sputter if I pulled it with the throttle and choke on. Now it wont run at all
Any damage? How long was it down for?
@@Kaison1 No damage it was down for maybe 10 seconds
@@austinwebb9434 it may just be flooded. May take some turning over awhile if you haven't just tried to crank it 100 times lol. Float could be stuck in carb too. Wouldn't fill up with gas
@@Kaison1 I also already cleaned the carb I checked the spark plug looked down in the cylinder and nothing
Like it only does it at high rpm’s I think it’s not getting not enough fuel but it’s an upgraded jet

So would adjusting that idle screw change anything?
It changes idle rpms
Kaison thanks for the reply ive just put a new replacement carb on since the last one leaked gas like none other, and it still only runs with the choke on. After messing with the idle screw its only helping the idle with choke on. Suggestions? Thanks!
@@fastactiontv5546 don't usually have an issue with new carbs. It has a spot to feed fuel during idle without choking. I'd make sure it doesn't have a shard of metal or something around it

@@leapfrog4546 I just took mine too the shop I couldn't figure out the lash setting when I changed the springs
@@bwcam3502003 thanks for the reply man. I was thinking valve lash. Looks like I'm getting guages tomorrow. So, it was the lash? I took my cover off and the exhaust valve seemed too tight when it was tdc.

@@bwcam3502003 use a feeler gauge and set the Lash at top dead center! If you don't do it at top dead then it won't be right. And set them both to. 002 cause the metal expands when warmed up and Will equal the. 003 recommended.

Were your idling problems a low or high idle? My 212 is stuck at a high idle and I’ve tried a new return spring, and the idle screw but nothing. Any suggestions?
This is for idle in general. Not getting fuel unless choked. I'm not sure what's going on with yours, there isn't much that controls idle speed other than idle adjustment and throttle. Carb may have something stuck inside possibly
Your possibly getting air into your engine from somewhere else if it is idling really high. Probably a gasket

@kaison i have a 212 Predator engine and it only runs when choked when I take it off choke it starts to die out and it only runs on choke when I have the throttle on full if I take my leg off the throttle it will die I don't know what's wrong with you please help
@moussa aldabbi sounds like the same issue in the video. Your idle jet is clogged up

Does anyone know why my predator engine is seizing when at idle? It will start from a high rpm then it drops down like it wants to shut off but then the rpm goes back up. This is it's cycle, I've cleaned everything except the float and the jets. Could it be these jets?
It's possible I guess, little weird but sounds like it could be fuel related, could be something with valves too

Cleaned it and now the motor runs with the choke off but i get white smoke. Any idea why? Also how can i tell how far the plastic screw over the plastic jet should be turned in? THANKS!
The screw over the idle jet is your idle speed. If it's too high/in it will want to spin tires sitting still/higher rpm. Too low/out it will sputter out. Some say for smoke, too much oil, bad gas, could have alot of fuel sitting from trying to start it alot. Last thing is could be motor issue. Keep an eye on it if it's new
Just a note, the idle jet listed from OMB does not fit some of the Predator 212 engines. It is for a RuiXing carb and has a larger diameter at the top that won't allow it to fully seat. And if you force it in you will not be able to remove it in one piece. Honda/Clone engines are different then the Predator in many ways.

Beat it in with a punch and a small hammer 🤣😂🤷🏼♂️👍🏻. Seriously tho if you do find the correct one that does fit it will make such a big difference . No more flat spot on the law end at take off . It will idle nicely . I used a size 20 and it worked great . 👍🏻

Is that idle jet getting clogged from dirt getting past the fuel filter or air filter. ????
Noah Riedel possibly, but not necessarily. Fuel has a lot of chemicals in it that can gum up in time. That's why carbs have to be cleaned too often
Kaison The reason I ask is whenever I go ride in dirt this always happens to me. I will clean the jet and it runs fine for another 30 minutes then cloggs again.
Noah Riedel what kind of filter do you have? The jet doesn't pull air through it so usually it's a gas issue
Kaison I'm going to say it's definitely a gas problem too. I'm running the factory paper filter with foam sock. It's also has the factory air box so I'm assuming it's pretty filtered air.
Noah Riedel could be trash in your old fuel line or tank too. Nothing wrong with an inline filter to save a few headaches

Would yours try to take off when the choke was turned off like at full speed?
Johnathan Collins no, not exactly. But a clogged carburetor could cause that, possibly. If you have to choke to get up to speed that's your problem. I may not be answering your question though. Maybe adjust the idler setting which is in this video.
Kaison this was not even a day old engine an i have to turn the choke off after started up an then it wanted to jus take off on me at full speed
sounds like your throttle is stuck, i would check the cable or return spring.
the idler screw may need to be backed out to slow down the rpms
