“connecting to place is simultaneously something that takes deep remembering of protocol and practice…and it’s also one breathe away, one song away, one sincere request away…” -Joshua Michael Schrei, The Emerald podcast
the slot canyon waters to comet falls…
“slot, or slit, canyons are rare formations, the result of the combined forces of wind and water on sandstone (or similar sedimentary rock) . The narrow crevice sliced through a mesa (or mountain) by rushing water and evolves from a hairline crack into a series of convoluted hallows, in some instances stacked many stories high. “ ~ home ground by Barry Lopez and Berra Gwartney.

They are silly little mushies. Beautiful and some of my favorites
They’re crystal jellies
Perhaps...we were told they are moon jellies in a trading for a citizen scientist project.

Great photo
thank you...
Unusual mushrooms 🍄 are they poisonous ? But pretty.
Aren't they...I thought they looked so playful peaking out from the moss...like they were waiting for someone to see them so they could say hello. From what I researched in my books, they are generally considered inedible/toxic, but I read some accounts, online, of people saying this type (which includes atleast a dozen that all look very similar) taste like a mild marshmallows without the goo texture.
I absolutely adore moths. i always have! ❤
They are truly fascinating creatures…✨
Humm, I wonder what they taste like!?!?
they had a subtle earthy smell to them ✨
So pretty 😮
😘🥰❤️
Puffy
These are very fascinating creatures. I love watching them

The forest dies to decompose and bring new life, regardless of our size. When we realize that we never die, we know we are eternal, not as individuals but as one.
