been there and done that but with milkers. will never forget the smell while cleaning the trough and on the spreader. Know you must enjoy lots of work. You know who!

Brought back a lot of memories of the farm in Smyrna De. Those there were milkers and it always amazed me how at the same time they all came up to the stable. I also remembered that some of my jobs there were to clean the trough behind the cows while they were being milked. The output was always recycled and so it got shoveled up into a manure spreader and then pulled to the fields to be distributed. No other smell like that in this world on a sunny hot summer day. Also it also amazed me how those animals knew who was going to be nice t them. Some even at times came close to be scratched. But only those of us who have worked and farmed animals will know how hard and difficult a job it is. It takes discipline, all your free time and attention to details. I think I know where you learned those attributes. I hope to see you soon.
