INDIKA (PC) - Part 4 - Industrial Exploration (Blind / No Commentary)
This is my blind playthrough of the game 'INDIKA' for the PC. Played through this game recently and was very surprised by how good it was and its "oddness" which I really appreciated. While a newer game I recorded it in case it was unique enough and thought someone might enjoy it as a no commentary. There are also some segments and aspects of the game that do call back to older games which is always nice.
Hope you enjoy!
Description:
INDIKA is a third-person, story-driven game set in a strange world where religious visions clash with harsh reality. It tells the story of a young nun who sets off on a journey of self-discovery with the most unusual, horn-headed companion by her side.
On the outside, Indika seems to be a typical nun attempting to adjust to a difficult and monotonous monastery life. Humble and innocent in her appearance, do not be deceived as this young girl has also made a highly unlikely acquaintance-as she speaks with the devil himself.
Indika’s unusual connection with the Evil One leads her on an errand beyond the safe walls of the monastery. The world she discovers can only be described as a wild combination of comedy and tragedy straight out of the novels by Dostoyevski and Bulhakov.
The subjects of religion and authority are prevalent throughout Indika’s journey and she’ll be faced with many questions along the way. Guide her to find the answers one by one before she can finish her life-defining odyssey.
Odd Meter is a small, independent studio formerly based in Moscow and now operating out of Kazakhstan. Its members put aesthetics at the forefront and aren’t afraid to tread the fine line of ethical norms. Their game is a great testament to that, as INDIKA constitutes an open challenge to the industry's established approach to creating video games.

Episode 2: Deep Strike / Level 2: Backwoods This is my blind playthrough of this Wolfenstein 3D inspired first person shooter developed by Didolino. This trailer for 'Krazy Ivan' is taken from the demo disc that came with the 'Official UK PlayStation Magazine' nr. 1 in 1995. In five areas of the planet, they have erected energy generators, creating a field that slowly encompasses the entire planet surface. They have also taken hundreds of humans prisoner. Someone h...

Playthrough of the second Broken Sword game on the PS1. I dunno what this is, but it looks like it could be good.
@@JensenBrosGaming yeah, quite an early-ish PS1 title, I should play it on stream one day :) I think its supposed to have "amazing" live action bits in it :D
FAKE?
@palacehaunter5442 Fake? It's a real game, one that came out a long time ago haha, or you refering to something else?
This has nice sprite work, and makes good use of the horizontal plane, so to speak but it does make me appreciate the verticality in FPSes more. Thanks for showing this.
Yeah, it's quite a good game this, like the graphics too and I also love the soundtrack and how loud the weapons are. I found it interesting as there are tons of "Doom clones" out there, but very few that take direct inspiration from Wolfenstein 3D so it's nice to have that for a change :)
Thank you for the translation! I would love to know more about the people behind this tho, did they even made any more games other than the sequel to this?
Glad you enjoyed it :D Yeah, I tried to look as well and couldnt really find much. The company is still around, so who knows, maybe some of them are still there? :)
Are the soldiers meant to be German or French? Or are they from like a made up country because I can’t really identify their uniforms
@@justinbrown9901 I think its like an alternate universe WW1/2 kind of thing. :)
When I clicked on this I had no idea what to expect. All those nuns are bitches to each other, plus your character needs a quad-bike to get around in all that snow. What's the deal with the little dancing guy at the end? That was well weird 🤣
Haha, its a great little game this. They arent very nice are they. It definitely does some weeeeiiird stuff here and there, more to come :D
A deceptively simple looking game, but gave you some issues. I like the look of that. Gotta find those secrets though buddy 😉
@@JensenBrosGaming yeah, is simple, but hard at the same time. Really recommended if you're after a good challenge :) Some of the secrets must be very well hidden, but I do find some :)
TC is being made as a stand alone game on steam now.
Ah yes, I did notice that actually. I would love to check that out, there are a few things that would be great if they fixed. Like the inventory getting full all the time and having to sort things constantly, and the hitboxes are a bit dodgy sometimes. Overall though, I loved my time with this mod. Very impressive :)
Here's a like for ya :p
@Howdareyou-ln2stars Thank you! Hope you are doing well :)
Nice Video ! Sub & Like ! And Love Retro Arcade Games !
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it :)
@@SuperRetroPolygons Thank you for your reply ! If you are interested in the nostalgic game culture of Japan, please subscribe to my channel !
Mod looks like Indiana Jones went Doomguy, but he stumbles on the Japanese instead of the Germans.
Haha yeah, can see what you mean :) the earlier levels you fight a lot of Germans too so its really Indy. Juts missing a whip ! :D
WHY ALWAYS I HAVE TO PLAY AMERICAN SOLDIER??? I WANNA PLAY GERMAN SOLDIER.
Nice. Don't forget, your government and central bank are expanding the currency supply via debt and interest and the price rises are a symptom of the currency expansion. This is what you call inflation.
Pas terrible !
I think I died even more in the live stream on this level haha, I cut out deaths on these where there were no real progress in an attempt :)
Amateur
Never claimed to be a pro so I'll take it :)
It’s been a while since I’ve been around !! Good stream tonight , I was lurking watching you play Resi 3 whilst doing some stuff at home. Impressive how you remember where everything is and where to go. I’m useless at Res games 😂. Catch you on the next stream in the chat
Thank you for lurking haha :) Nothing wrong with that :D Always glad to have you around :) I do remember quite well where things are, but I do struggle with Nemesis a lot as you saw haha, but got there in the end! Hope to see you around next time! Cheers!
(・ω・)❤
Use the crosshair for god sake
Haha, not gonna lie, I was definitely struggling with the controls many times in this game! haha :D
Have you got the little big adventure? I'd love to see that again.
I would love to play that actually. I have only ever played the demo of it waaaay back in the day, but always found it to look interesting :) So never say never, I might play it one day for sure :D
@SuperRetroPolygons is definitely worth a play it's a huge game 🎮 I'm playing ff7 currently. Now that's nostalgic 👌 still really good 👍
@@Fatty2-sj8vr I will put it on my list :) FF7 is pure classic! Amazing game :D
@@SuperRetroPolygons it's the soundtrack I think
@@Fatty2-sj8vr bloody amazing soundtrack!! :)
Great game still have it on the ps1.
Yeah, I got the EA double pack with both games boxed :) This was my first time playing through it though, want to play Underground as well one day soon.
Are you new here sir? My mistake sir have a nice day
I dare u to play silent hill 3 ps2 that game is kind scary 🤣
@@Howdareyou-ln2stars It's a great game, completed it lots of times, will add to the list :) Thank you
I think the soundtracks has a touch of indiana jones throughout the game 🎮 not sure why. I feel its got that element to it.
Oh definitely, especially in certain areas :) and that's no bad thing!
Tekken 1?
"Tekken 1?".... ?
Its got that old ps2 game the suffering feel to it. I wish they'd realese those again.
@@Fatty2-sj8vr ah yes, you are right. I have not played The Suffering games, but looking at screenshots I can see the resemblance :) Heard the Suffering games are alright, gonna have to play them one day :)
@SuperRetroPolygons they're very enjoyable. Basically, shawshank redemption meets Silent Hill.
@@Fatty2-sj8vr I like both of those haha So that's a good sign :D
Devs pushed doom engine to such limits it may have been easier to just use Unreal.
@@ozcozfozc haha I know! I does almost look like it in places. :) Very impressive! Saying that, I think actually this mod is being remade using Unreal at the moment :)
Now, this is nostalgia! It was the first game I bought with my first wage along with my ps1!. Can you believe the cost it todays money £39.99 back in 96 in todays money that's over £80.
That is one smashing game to buy alongside your PS1! Such a classic :D Yeah, it's crazy, its almost the same price as today actually for new games on consoles, at least the AA ones. I also remember SNES games in particular were even more expensive back before then. Being on cartridge and all, so having CD games and them being cheaper was a big win for Sony back then. :)
@SuperRetroPolygons have you got the die-hard trilogy to play. That was the other first game of mine . That was pretty good.
@@Fatty2-sj8vr I have played it a fair bit yes! It's a great compilation of games :) I even live streamed them quite a few times on my channel this year, and kind of want to try and get to the top of the skyscraper in the 1st one :) Used to play the 2nd one with a light gun at a friends place lots too. Great fun :)
Very good fps. I remember getting this in the 90s. It definitely hasn't aged well graphics wise. It's funny to think this was cutting edge back then.
Yeah, I found it still fun to play today :) Graphically its definitely aged, but I find the graphics to have a nice charm to them still that sometimes gets lost with todays realistic graphics sometimes. Things have progressed far for sure, and we can do pretty much anything we can imagine which is great! :) Thank you for the comment, glad it brought back some memories for you :)
@SuperRetroPolygons yeah the charm and the nostalgia.
Thanks for the translation, after years i know what the game is about. Please translate the sequel "yaku tsuu noroi no game" aswell.
Thank you for watching! Makes me happy to hear! :) One of the reasons I wanted to translate my playthrough as I couldn't really find anyone else having done it. I do plan on doing the sequel as well down the line :) Won't be for a little bit though, the editing did take quite a while haha Thanks again!

@@SuperRetroPolygons Of course, the console rests here. Unfortunately, I don't always have the opportunity to turn it on, but it's always an uplifting feeling when the opening sound effect is played when it's turned on. That's why I'm happy for videos like this, don't let those times go to waste. My greatest respect!
