Please join me for a wild camp in Far Easedale. Tarn Crag is a fell in the Central Fells of the English Lake District. Strictly the name refers only to the rock face looking down upon Easedale Tarn, but Alfred Wainwright applied it to the entire ridge lying between the Easedale and Far Easedale valleys in his Pictorial Guide to the Lakeland Fells

this is 7:13 of high octane lake district! Have you retired now Anthony? I have recently retired, and find I am not getting `out there` as much as i did when i was working! I keep getting jobs to do, so this year I am going to plan ahead, and `book trips` like i HAD to when i worked. All the best from Whitby ;)

Hi Mark, sorry for the lack of content. I've had some health issues which have prevented me from getting out this year. I won't bore you with the details, they are slowly getting resolved so I have'nt given up hope of getting out wild camping again. I was lucky on that occaision as I did'nt have a bivvy bag but the weather stayed dry. I realised after that a bivvy is probably a good idea! Atb Anthony
@@anthonypayne1 So sorry to hear that Anthony. I really do hope you get well and get back doing what you love. I do sympathize. I've been out almost 3 years because of my leg - managed a few long hikes this year, got sore and just recently back out. It is a worry - never give up. Yeah, a bivvy is always good with a tarp. Take care and see you back out there.
