I assume the roof is 1 piece, where did you get 6ft wide aluminum?

Superb build...needs bigger tires for clearance. Your rear angle is filled wth jacks and your H2O tank is low...tires will fix all.

Hi Peak Expedition I am planning to do a DIY mini camper and cross with Teardrop - the trailer bed is going to be 7’ x 12’ with a rear hatch opening that houses the kitchenette. A drawer pulls out 5 feet for pantry, grill, burner and sink. 2nd drawer is garage for folding chairs, folding table, mesh for room, etc Inside is a full size bed 6’6” x 6’, the mattress will be in 3 parts of 2’ width. During day, one part is pushed up vertically, and the remains 2 parts are pushed back to make a seat. The 3rd part exposes a table that is raised and 2 seats on each side. Under one seat is the battery space. Under second seat is the water tank. a 32x24 shower stall and a separate toilet stall that will extend out from main frame when parked. A cabinet with fridge, a small closet to hang a couple of clothes. 30g clean water tank, a 25G grey water tank is under the chassis. An Propane fired tankless water heater for shower and outside sink. Outside cladding is ACF in 2 tone color. Solar on top 2x250W I have made some drawings (not as professional as urs) - I wonder if u will have time to review and critique them . Good, bad, ugly. My current budget estimate works out to CAD 18,000

Yes, the floor is insulated with 3” foam insulation. The roof and walls are insulated with 1-1/2” foam insulation.

Excellent! I bet your weight is marginal for this size camper... My 4x6 Vnose Cargo/Convert with 35# axle weighed 720# with steel frame and .025AL siding. So, Peak Expedition is a registered Plan? Or are they produced...? What's the finished weight and dimensions of this build?
Thank you, Our Peak Expedition is our very own design and build. Overall Length is about 166"/ overall width is about 82". And the final weight comes in at 2600 #.

Like it a lot! Love the cabinetry and the stain chosen; it gave the interior some warmth! Do you plan to add some solar panels to it? Excellent job!
Thank you , the wood added some weight but we think it was well worth it in the end. We for sure want to add a couple solar panels in the near future, in the mean time we are doing research to see what set up would work best for this rig.
Absolutely top notch trailer!!! What and how did you apply the finish on the Baltic Birch cabinets? I thought that would did not like to except stain? Thank you I appreciate your humble presentation!
Thank you, Before the stain we prepped the wood with a 220 grit pass then applied prestain. For the final finish we used an oil base stain (Gel Stain may be a better product to work with) and top coated with polyacrylic clear coat.
Very Nice .. just a FYI Note . It's Dangerous and also Illegal in most places to have a LOCK on your LP Access Shut Off Door. For safety in case of Fire. Awesome little Trailer Though.
