I had the same experience. I started praying tahhajud because there is one thing that i really wanted. By the time i got the sweetness of tahhajud, I didn't care about what i had asked Allah for, as long as i continued to feel that sweetness.

I was born as Muslim but did not practice Islam at all. One night I saw a dream, I was dead and so regretful about my life on earth and saying " Why didn't I make prostration ? " But this prostration was continuous one I mean I meant in my dream literally I would put my head on the ground and would never get up ever again, because in that moment I realized that Allah deserves it, secondly I had to stay on prostration till I die if I really knew Allah and if I really loved him. Then something happened to me, in a few days I started praying 5 time a day and it became so easy to me, it was never like that. I think almost 20-25 days I felt like angels surrounded me and they were literally carrying me when I walked on the streets. After 20-25 days I didn't feel like that and never stopped praying since. Then I heard a Hadith saying like " When a person becomes Muslim, the angels surrounds him and do not leave till he really attaches himself to religion''

I'm in immense pain to the point that I've given up on everything in life. I don't feel anything anymore. My health, relationships, financial situation, mental health everything is suffering. I don't know how I will ever be able to get out of this situation. I'm so demotivated that I don't even have the energy to talk to God during tahajjud. I'm scared to ask for anything to God because I no longer dream of having something nice in life but I just beg Allah to stop hitting me with one after another disaster. I don't know when God will have a little mercy on me. I don't know.

Its true the experience you are talking about is unexplainable i have also encountered the same and cried with joy, love and happiness. Its an experience i think we should be feeling everyday all the time
