Is it a lie that the witnesses predicted the end was going to come in 1914 and then 1975? Is it a lie that at one time the elders covered up child molestation because there was not two witnesses? Is it a lie that Ray Franz a former member of your faithful and discreet slave had a “crisis of conscience“ and was shunned by your publishing company? Is it a lie that you guys published your very own special little Bible to support your bad doctrine? This truly was excellent… I was born and raised as a Jehovah’s Witness… In my teenage years, I attended five meetings a week, went out in field service every Saturday morning for at least two hours, I prepared… I was required to prepare for every meeting and give public talks on the ministry school. I also attended every circuit and district assembly. I never had time for homework and my grades at school were horrible. When I finally got a little older and more mature and they changed the doctrine on the generation of 1914 yet again… By the way, they say that generation of 1914 is still alive… I started to do my own research and realized that I had been lied to and that this was false religion and that it is basically a cult. A high control and in my opinion, dangerous cult at that.

I was raised in the so-called truth. I began to open my eyes when I was about 35 or 40 years old. Then quickly stopped going to the meetings… But I am still at this point struggling because I’m not even sure where I was misled or what is true and what is not.
