@@mavvie I went with the Honda. Love it. Only thing i felt it needed was a 1" lift which I did only because I have 34" inseam. The KLX felt perfect sitting on it...but I got the Honda a little cheaper.

@@ryanmillsap8645 nice, congrats! Seems like you can't really go wrong with either, mechanically anyways. I'm about 5'11" and the same weight, so I guess I have to just keep an eye out for the right deal (on either)

Yes it sucks,and I drove back same day 8.3hours lol. Thx for watching, its a bummer my bike wasn't in top shape, but its my fault for not keeping up on it, too many bikes to take care lol. Danny's bike has been down too and the klx is getting suspension done🤦🏽‍♂️, but new top end for the yzx is on its way should be fun bike again 💪🏾

Can relate.....f250 towed (radiator) 30 min from house.....re-org for trailer....blow fork seal in practice.....done....oh well :) we tried!

Unfortunately, no!! I did love the bike, but the way I ride just didn't suit my style. I felt I was actually abusing it every time I rode it, maybe when I slow down and mature lol maybe Ill go back to something like it. I still have the klx230 and the quad and my kids bikes, but this 450 is a beast of a bike

Go to ebay and search for honda 300ex thumbthrottle, the cable you have to contact motion pro and get one done from them, I don't own the bike anymore and forgot the # part for the cable, hope this helps 👍🏽

On this bike I am using a dualgasser since my problem is that I cant twist my wrist when standing but it has twist and thumbthrottle in one unit, you can get it from Ebay/Amazon. I Eliminated one of the cables, depending on your application is the cable you'll use. You can also contact Motion pro and they can make a custom cable for you. Now for my race bike yz250X I use Honda 300ex thumbthrottle assy. I use the twist when riding street since I am sitting

Through South Dakota, you have to have your title in hand. Pretty easy to do snd it was $80

@@thumbgas888 Yes I have a clear fl title in my name. But the title says off road only, so not sure how that works. Dont know how they can re-title it as on road.? What does your say on it?

@catmanflorida2839 they don't, but you will have a on road legal tag with registration ,now your title will be a south Dakota title,also you have to get the bike inspected and signed off by police, basically making sure you have headlight, taillight, horn ,mirrows,turn signals ect..

He rarely stalls his bike, I teached him that clutch is for taking off, stopping and power up out of a corner and always when using rear brake hard, he got that pretty good in fact better than me lol,Thanks for watching, he has become pretty fast these days now that he is 12

I use Honda thumbthrottle from any of the EX models, the cable is from MotionPro, but you need to measure the length and make sure that you purchase a cable for fuel injected ATV, you could use the cable from Can Am outlander 570 also!!, good luck and don't forget to subscribe 👍🏽

@thumbgas888 I just pick up a 2023 crf250f. Do I need the push/pull cables that are stock, or can I get away with 1?

@danielp4507 you can use just 1 cable, the spring is strong enough to close the throttle body.

Yeah stock gearing 3rd is the sweet spot, I changed back to stock, 13/50, and love it,but again I have more experience now

@TayGOD45 3rd gear is longer more usable for faster trails, 3.84 ratio (13/50) to 3.76 (13/49), but I have come back to stock 14/50,now that I am carrying little more speed 3.57 (14/50) hope it helps!!, but best is to play with gears and find your sweet spot, for me 14/50, love it for Harescrambles and 13/49 for enduros and 13/50 for hard enduros even 13/51
