I’m surprised he said coaching is all about improving ball flight, not making the swing technically sound. This is not true. The best way to make ball flight better long term is to improve the mechanics of the swing. Yes there is a personalized element as well absolutely but swing fundamentals are key.

As a Black Man who taught Golf for 17 years, that's funny, but not the case. Everybody knows that range Golf Balls are terrible. The Yellow balls are the oldest normally, so I would never hit a driver with them. They are also double-coated to reduce ball flight. This is NOT racist at all! LOL. I would use the yellow balls for my short game only. Then, as I went UP clubs, I would switch to the white ball. BUt, they ALL suck. I taught at Diversey Driving Range in Chicago, one of the Most busiest in the world. Life was good and I made a TON of money. Retired at 59 in 2021. Happy Golfing, ya'll!!! - Ron
