Ok so I am a side sleeper and I hate memory foam that sucks you in. I toss and turn all night as it is and can’t imagine not being able to get out of a position. Also, I have back problems the bed Im on now I can feel pressure in my hip and shoulder. Please 🙏 help.

ILD also known as IFD (Indention force deflection) is a measure of fitmness. To test it you use a 12" x 12" x 4" thick piece of foam and the amount of weight it takes to compress is 1/4 of it's thickness or 1" is the ILD number so a 32 ild would means it took 32 pounds on an 8" circle (I think) to compress the foam 1". Hope that helps. Foam density is the foam weight per cubic foot.

My concern lies within Beautyrest both K and C class, people either love or hate. About half reviews have indentation and Beautyrest denying claims, or giving replacement substandard products not the one people bought. So, what's the truth here?

Ok so we have two of your natural latex mattresses that we love. We bought them when we were living in Ventura and then we moved to Santa Barbara with them and after at least seven, and maybe more, years they are still the most comfortable mattresses we have ever owned. What we would like to do now is put them on an adjustable bed frame. So is that possible and do you guys carry an adjustable frame that would work with our mattress?

Love all of your videos. You are so honest and informative. Found them because we bought an aireloom m2 luxury firm mattress and we don’t like it. We sink into it. I am 125/5’3” Husband 170/ 6’ Everyone raved about this aireloom mattress, maybe we got a bad one. Have only had it a month, we know we don’t like it already. I like your, open up other brands, videos. I live in NJ, I wish I was able to come to your store. I’m currently looking at the Stearns and foster luxe estate line. Specifically the luxe estate firm pillow top. I hear you saying that all you need is good quality springs, latex and a nice quilted topper. Hard to find that. The lux estate medium tight top is close, just too soft. Is there something else I should consider?

What do you think about diy mattresses? I'm def not the handiest person but I enjoy learning about mattresses, especially from this channel because Spencer seems to have so much experience to share. What kind of things that a person at home cannot easily do to make their mattresses better that a factory can?

Boring Mattress

Do you guys have any knowledge on the Posh+Lavish mattress line? I'm looking into buying a full latex mattress and came across this brand at a local store. I definitely liked it but was on the pricey side but still within my budget, the only issue is there isn't much info online about them and their website is kinda vague.

We appreciate the UA-cam video of your mattress, however your website does not allow you to view this mattress on line to see its construction and driving 3 hours is not reasonable without first seeing your products online!!! An updated and improved website would go a long way to improving customer sales. Just an opinion.

The L series is $3,000 in 2024, and less foam above the coils.

Hey, what happened to the conversation? It was just starting to get good about what we should already know when walking into a showroom. What I want to know is, what kind of bed to buy that is firm, gives a little bit on hips & shoulders, but does not sag or create a shallow hole to sleep in. Wonderful video. I really hate shopping for a mattress because alot of these sales people try to BS me into what i DON'T WANT & NEED! So I have to study well before making a major purchase. And its so true most of these companies cheat the public. Years ago there was no such thing as buying a bed without a box spring, in fact the box springs were made of steel not like today cheap wood. And growing up in the late 1960s & 70s my parents never had to replace beds in our household. That may have occurred like after 10 years or more. So today unfortunately i must make very wise purchases

No offense,but if you actually sell mattresses your website is awful. If I cant tell within a few minutes what youre selling and how much it costs, then thats pretty much the end of it. If its only for educational interest pertaining to materials and types of beds, then its great.

Bullshit on the boxed bed talk. You know it, too. I’ve been selling boxed beds for many years. Solid latex, pocketed coils, all foam. No issues whatsoever.

We are currently in our trial run on a BR black C pillowtop plush. Its been a few weeks now and its so firm compared to the store model. We exchanged to this from a Posturepedic firm. It looks like this will be sent back as well ugh. We slept on a Jamison hybrid pillow top which was HEAVEN for 15+ yrs until it finally started putting us in a hole. I was so sad. We haven't found a bed that compares to that awesomeness since. We did get a Jamison from a factory warehouse place and it was NOT like the old quality. We both want some softness but not something that will put us in a hole after a few hours. I'm beyond frustrated. This BR was sooo expensive from Mattress Firm. We are side sleepers with some low back and shoulder pain. Not sure what to get now ):

DUDE!!!! I wish I seen these videos years ago!! I have been having the WORST, I MEAN THE WORST time trying to find a mattress I can sleep comfortably on. I've tried ALL OF THEM, BEAUTYREST, TEMPURPEDIC, sterns and foster, serta, king koil, sealy etc. I literally went thruogh at least 20 mattresses spending more than 10K at least. The reason I believe I have been having issues, is because for the longest time, from 2002-2015 I was on a spring air back supporter, this particular manufacturer went out of business than sold to a new ownership which just kept the name, not the manufacturing so it's not necessarily the same mattress. I believe the spring air back supporter I had that I loved had a coil construction like this saavta, I think my issue is MOST MATTRESSES constructed today are pocketed coils and it just makes for a different feel, I believe its less supportive, and I cannot believe they went to the pocketed coil just so the sleeper next to you won't feel you get out of bed, just absolutely absurd. I remember that spring air back supporter I was able to sink down slightly into the mattress only to be met with a very supportive coil core, now with individually pocketed coils, it just seems wavy, when I get a plush feel mattress it is just to hard to move around or get out of bed so my back suffers, then I go firm and my shoulders and hips get destroyed and I really can't find a comfortable sleeping position. It's really effected my quality of life, mattress manufacturers are borderline criminal with their price gauging too, it's unbelievable with what they get away with, in any case, I cannot find a mattress with a coil build that is linked, am I'm glad I was able to watch this video as I do believe SAAVTA may be the way to go. If you guys are reading this, maybe you have a recommendation, I'm on a paramount extra firm (it's not really that firm, but still I need something softer) it was the only brand that seems like a regular mattress last time I went to Macys.

I just went to the mattress firm store and tested every single mattress in the store and the beauty rest pressure smart 2.0 hybrid was by far the most comfortable bed in the store on the floor

The one thing I don’t like about my Saatva mattress is the motion transfer. Now I understand why it does that. Thanks for explaining it with the “old school” spring base. I will keep that in mind with my next mattress purchase.
