Hi there! Did you have to get permission(from the Dept of Culture & Sports, Danang) to fly as a solo leisure pilot? Or it's a typical public activity there? Thanks in advance. Am planning a holiday visit and fly during August~September 😊
No permission needed, it's a typical activity there.
@@oleole4248 Hmm....good on you. So, there was no legal administrative issue - you'd just arrived at launch site(from transportation point at base), took-off and landed at beach (with same amount of...).. ...I've heard otherwise, from the grapevine$....🙄
@@andrewc3186 Yep, it was no lega issue. DaNang pilots are very friendly and I had a great time there with many new paragliding friends. I will for sure go back to DaNang soon. A local pilot also has a great Airbnb not far from the landing.

I think is no problem to fly in Bukit Jugra. Can you still paraglide in HongKong? I heard a rumor that it's banned to paraglide at the moment ...
