I did that ride myself on that little Aerox. I turned around about where you did. That little scooter about beat my brains out. Keep an eye out for a Scooter and a bike for me. I will be back in October to stay this time. Miss riding with you brother! Always love your music
Nice ride, it looks like the KTM is a good fit for the Philippines
@@twolfe8523 perfect for me
Pls u vlog also the Suzuki Raider J CROSSOVER, color yellow variant..I will buy it soon, but I have no idea on its torque etc, specially on uphill
Yer turns traction control off.....gimick with only 390cc...maybe good on wet greazy muddie crap but....i recon night mode on the dash is better....ha...good to see you wearing gloves...😊....teach boys the cnr man system...if theres a few....
thanks mate, we just did the full trip over the mountain and will upload the vid soon
Great ride mate 😀
Nice Video as usual, counting down the days until end of the year and permanent move over…might be coming up from Butuan for a few Days to see Dumagheti and Valencia, hopefully you’ll be around , would love to see your bikes..does that KTM have ABS?
@@JT-mf3dm Look forward to catching up and yes the KTM has everything like a hamburger with the lot haha
Nice ride, Harro. That looked like a lot of fun! 👍
@@bj5083 thanks, was good fun and this week we are going all the way across to Pamplona so stay tuned
I own the same bike and I agree with your assessment. I put a bigger front disc on mine and a better rear shock, the front shocks bottom out occasionally. Not enough leg room for me and I am not a big guy. Like you said ok for smaller trips
Hi Mark... We met last year an Ninos place in Valencia. My name is Greg and we spoke about retirement in the Philippines and you mentioned you had a guru who could help....Any chance you can send me his details please Cheers
@@ronarankin8857 Semd me your FB and i’ll contact you
A domanier 400 which is a bajaj made by kawasaki is a great bike for the expressway
As maintenance is just a suggestion in the philippines, it makes me very weary of buying a used motorcycle in the philippines. Plus, if it has ever been in an accident, there is no way to know until you ride it and realize it handles like crap .
I've heard that the XR 150L is a great bike for all-around use . It just made it to the States after years of being in Asia and is well received as a very affordable entry-level adventure motorcycle. 19 s in the front and 17s in the back make it a great province bike with a big fuel tank and a small price tag .
Greetings from Iceland and thank you for a very nice video sir. What are you riding on this trip?
I’m glad you liked the video 🙏I was riding a KTM Adventure 390
@@ridingtheislandswithharro6581 Thank you for the reply sir. That´s what I thought when I saw the display for a sec in the video. I am riding 390 now, sold my Afrika Twin couple of years ago as I am getting older and the bike was to heavy for the challenging adventure ridings here in Iceland. I am visiting the Phil in oct for a island hopping tour on motorbikes and my plan is to retire in the Phil later this year so looking for a bike will be priority.
Thanks for the look around and great Aussie music
Another great video 👍
Cool video how was the Airblade? Bar was Nice I could spend a couple of days in it😂
Air blade went well, was reliable and nice to ride. That bar was great, glad you enjoyed the video 🙏
Sea creatures are cute and making me hungry😂
You are hungry for turtle haha?
Got my sister one and I enjoyed driving it when I was back in the island
Beautiful ride mate🙃🙃🙃
Thanks ✌️
Great video! Nice to see an honest review.
thanks very much
$3500 Oz dollars
Good to see you back mate. I've been working outside of Goondiwindi and as you can imagine, fu@k all to do but watch UA-cam
Glad to see the Video! I’m making a side trip there in December/January…also, hope to make it to Dumagheti so if we do I’ll give you advance notice
Yeah, been there once - traffic was atrocious but food was great - thank you for sharing mate 😃
Especially in ho chi mihn
Nice place VN Harro. Not so expat friendly as PH. Their Confucian values incl. civic pride is very evident cf. PH Catholic apathy. Thanks for sharing mate
Visiting the war remnants museum in ho chi mihn was an eye opener as to their prospective on the war.
Yep been there. Interested but not surprised in the VN minimal coverage of the battle of Long Tan and description of us as American lackeys in the war museum. History is written by the victors.

Hi Harro. Interested in your thoughts on CFMoto bikes?
Hi, I love the new CF Moto 450 adventure bike and the 800 adventure also but not totally sure about reliability, parts, servicing etc. I’m trying to get a hold of a 450 and will do a review but there are already a lot of reviews online
@@ridingtheislandswithharro6581 looking at an NK300 Harro. Those bikes are a bit too big for PH. Love to watch your review in due course mate
Nice bike 👍
Hi sir, just wondering where did you buy the hand guard for your honda motorcycle? I've been trying to find something like yours now for a couple of weeks and I'm just curious if you bought it online may I ask where did you buy it? Thank you
I bought them on Lazada
The Benelli is now made in China with Italian engineering, hence the lower price. Similarly, CF Moto is effectively a KTM also made in China, great value in my view. The KTM engines seem to be fairly bulletproof.
Hey bud, haven’t seen any videos in a bit, everything Ok?
Hey mate, All good, been in Vietnam, will load a few soon. Appreciate your concern 🙏
Hello Mate... I like the Music, Sounds nice. Ride safe, Hope you visit Leyte Island
Thanks mate, whereabouts in Leyte are you ? Maybe next month i’ll go there
@@ridingtheislandswithharro6581 Julita, Leyte. Just 45 Kilometers from the City of Tacloban. Good on you mate
A small fortune just in the memorabilia.
I’m Thinking about getting one of these, they look like a lot of fun, I grew up learning to ride on a Honda ct70 (1970s). You could go anywhere you could point it except up a tree although I tried. But now I’m 6ft 2 in. Interesting fact- I did a comparison of this bike to the Honda CT125 trail bike. The wheelbase, engine, tire size, frame, and weight are exactly the same. Big adults have gone round the world on those bikes. Loaded to the max. And they cost 4500usd for a ct125 the XRM dual sport is 74000 php or 1300usd. What a steal, you could buy 3.5 XRMs for the price of the ct125.
Hey Harro, I have enjoyed your videos. I wanted to ask, does anybody import bikes from Japan or Thailand, or is it too cost prohibitive ??? Just curious, if I retire there, can I import a couple of favorite bikes to ride, thanks Tim H.
Hey Tim, Glad you enjoy the vids 🙏. Importing bikes here is cost prohibitive unfortunately however there are quite a few bikes already here that can be purchased e.g lots of Vmaxs, various other big bikes
Thanks Harro. I'll scratch this bike mate
Agree with your comments. The front end on these things are woeful and a real let down - they bounce all over the road whenever there are bumps and are especially bad around bumpy corners. So much promise too with a great little engine and lane-busting slim design.
Does the box make the ride feel different?
Not at all
I love how you did this bike
thank you
Hi Harrow. I sent you a message a few weeks ago on FB about the ADV 160, but no reply from you. What FB page are you using now?
I agree. It's why we use Gravis for our fleet. 👍
Good choice, great bike
Rented an nmax in Indonesia. I think they’re a pretty good option.
definitely a better bike
Thanks for sharing and the warning. I think the ADV 160 is a much better scooter even if it's more expensive.
Agree
They only have a different frame but they have the same engine depending on what you want, the adv has a lot of accessories, but if offroad same feelings try kuna peace ✌🏻
@@jackolito7571 One of the main differences is the dual quality rear shocks on the ADV compared to the solo click shock
Consider PCX??
Bought an Aerox
See you soon 😀
What do you think of that new Triumph 400 speed or scrambler?
Haven’t ridden one yet
So question, if I can’t get the triumph in Butuan, I think there’s a place in Cebu, is there an option to ship it to Butuan and any guess on how much? Do you think a non triumph mechanic can work on it? I know parts could be an issue
@@JT-mf3dm If you can get it in Cebu go there and then ride it back to Butuan. Servicing may be an issue so do your research
Sounds like one to pass on…Thanks for the info
Welcome
Awesome video and bike!
