Time served is better than any nvq or silly college coarse , I’m a time served roofer and work with few boys who came through college and there useless

Just hold the camera still . Waggling it about like watering the garden with a hosepipe does not make a good film. What is wrong with giving a commentary? Are you shy of speaking on camera? If so you could use a few informative subtitles. This is a complete waste of time. You probably enjoyed the walk but please don't inflict this rubbish on others.

Tile Roofs vent from underneath of each piece and the sofits, In most case according to if the underlayment was properly installed. This is the first video I have seen where the ridge cap is being mortared correctly. GOOD JOB !!!

Secret to long lasting ridge tiles is plenty of cement. A nice chunky bed to sit them on too.

Not the tidiest muck work, but he is quick. Depends if the customer wants a quick job or a nice clean looking job. ..I like the way people on here are saying that they're going to do their own roof. Leave it to the professionals for gods sake as its not that easy .

take pride in your work & u get no come backs! good old fashioned leadwelding & pride, Oh & looking after ya tools lol most of my tools are 25 yrs + of my trade, solving problems like repairs just by listening to customer & no ladders needed to see whats to repair, hard to find good honest roofing lads nowadays they either cant hack the workmanship & grafting & defo cant hack the cold weather! Well done lads, can see u take pride in your work shame same cant be said about joiners eh ;-) :-P

At 2:18 ish in the video where you see there is a little triangle of tile does this not need propping up somehow rather than just putting the ridge on. What would you suggest to do in the way of propping it?
