The Best Way to Reduce Stress

We all know we need to take a break and relax sometimes, but often it feels harder than doing the work itself. Whether you’re in school, working, or both, relaxation is critical to resetting yourself and reducing stress, leading to more focus day-to-day, better relationships with friends, family, and coworkers, and stronger long-term mental health. My one word ultimate method of reducing stress...

    Amway would be a good business if they were more forthcoming. On paper (and emotionally) the business makes total sense. Creating and profiting from business volume that your network generates makes tons of sense. But a lot of people got blown out because of 1) the absolute bombardment of meetings 2)the pressure and stoicism with “following the system” which creates terrible social dynamics inside and outside the business 3) the profit attached to the education system. Every big pin that I’ve gotten to know outside the business said the same thing- once you get platinum or above your business is running around teaching the business. I had a decently good up line, but the lack of boundaries, having to have people all in my damn house EVERY FRIDAY due to PASE meetings -I got out of the business a few years before COVID. Feel bad for yall that got in afterwords and we’re paying $100+ for zoom calls lmao. I was in when it was still “old school” traveling all over the damn place, while working a full time job. I have no idea how people did this business with kids. Again, the idea is so good. But the actual implementation is a massive turn off. Not to mention, most of these groups are Christian or ultra conservative in background where compliance is a function of lifestyle. Liberal folks, I’ve noticed, never seem to do as well. Just my take.

    Zoom era IBO myself! So what you are saying is, Amway is just the backdrop in all of this, or as you said the vehicle to conduct business. The concept of recruiting within BWW is what is considered the pyramid scheme?

    • @STR00m482
      @STR00m482 Місяць тому

      In effect yes. The Amway model makes sense, but BWW is the pyramid. I was in BWW for a number of years. The whole purpose is to generate profit from the education system. I’ll say though, that I’ve been to a ton of functions and I’ve learned things at functions and in this business that I still have not learned or heard anywhere else. However, they try to make BWW a lifestyle. It’s a very alienating business. Whether or not you make money from the Amway business structure, BWW still profits from selling the books cds and streaming. That’s also why a new rule was set that new prospects cannot get into BWW until being in Amway for a year. That’s very telling

    Well, I’m not an expert explaining how much money he lost. Oh man, I can’t P leave I keep running the show, experts, how much money they lose you gotta show product or use it la la la la la. Good luck paying off that college loan because I was running into a lot of them. Any wonder why you’re in debt behind your mortgage behind your car payment you far is gonna happen overnight calling Nick would every company use. It makes sense college student buy you use it you buy a use it it’s no different go to Costco and buy you exchange money for products stop whining, and complain. Enjoy that job it looks like a pyramid scheme, no matter how hard you work save it for a retirement look at what’s happening economy.

      Those of us that have been in the business know what’s up. We get it if you’re at the stage of building your belief. If you’re in and “sold out” I urge you to keep researching.. The business is full of false equivalencies and attribution fallacies. Please please do not waste your time. If you’re still sold out, look up. Awthentik and see what they have to say. Big pins who built massive businesses and left anyway because they saw the other side. The business could be so much better, but it simply doesn’t work the way you think it does.

    This was a great video Sir! I was also involved in Amway years ago in LTD. What the diamonds don't tell you is that once you get to that level, your life is even more consumed by that business in order to make up for the high turnover rate. The only people you associate with are Amway people. At the diamond level its even more like the Stepford Wives. They may take pictures on the beach to motivate their downlines, but the majority of diamond club is business meetings and flying from function to function to give talks for other diamond organizations which is where the real money is made, they just don't talk about that. Additionally, they have to constantly have their teams at their houses and properties in order to justify it as a business expense come tax time. Arguably the greatest pyramid MLM of all time is the "christian" mega church and the prosperity gospel that teaches that God wants us to be happy, healthy and wealthy! 🤑

    Eid Mubarak, Mohit-Kumar! I enjoyed hearing your thoughts on what needs to improve in higher education and would like to share my own. The whole homework issue v free time should be fixed by simply making homework optional. I had a few chemistry classes where this was the case and I found I enjoyed those classes much more than others - for me, if there were certain chapters we covered where I felt comfortable with the material I would skip the homework for that week, and on more difficult chapters I would be more inclined to do some of the homework problems for practice. I think having homework be optional is a balanced (as all things should be) solution that offers flexibility to each student. In terms of the racial diversity of a university, I think it would be the most fair to just drop the "what ethnicity are you" question from a college application and have it so that college administrators ONLY see you as a number when they get to your application, and simply accept/reject you based on your merit or writing sample (I say no names because it could be the case where a name would reveal or hint at an ethnicity - eg John Smith). While this might not necessarily bring a balance of race to a university, it would definitely be a more fair way of admitting students. Finally, I 100% agree with you on how college loans are a total scam - people at age 18 are too young to realize exactly what they are getting into when accepting these loans. It only really hits them when they graduate. Hopefully our president, "Sleepy" Joe Biden can fulfill his campaign promise of cancelling student debt - not just some, but all. It would be nice if the US were to follow suite in terms of how the EU handles college, with tuition at public institutions being free or close to free (may have to pay for textbooks and the like). Keep up the great content, and I look forward to your upcoming videos!

    I'm confused about why you got involved. How did you not understand that you needed to recruit or sponsor people? Did you not pay attention during the plan that was shown to you? Why would you not recruit higher quality people? They are not going to do anything. There is NO requirement to buy products monthly and everything can be returned within 6 months. I don't think you understood how it worked from the beginning. It is absolutely not a pyramid scheme. It has been in business for over 60 years. If it was a pyramid scheme wouldn't it be shut down by now?

      Yeah of course! Its worth noting that my internship was in 2019 and when i went back for full time last year, we were remote at the beginning of the pandemic! I’m sure things changed a bit but overall the living arrangements are really good, almost like a small campus community for at&ters (both interns and full-time). About a 5 minute walk to the office which is right past the security gate and you also get full house keeping every week. It was all free for interns and i believe a small monthly fee for full-timers (way cheaper than normal rent though). I do wish we had basic kitchen things but they may have added them over the past year! We didn’t have roommates but you live close enough to everyone since its a community-type living situation. I hope this helps!

    Would you mind talking more about the living arrangements and graduation of the program?

      Yeah of course! Its worth noting that my internship was in 2019 and when i went back for full time last year, we were remote at the beginning of the pandemic! I’m sure things changed a bit but overall the living arrangements are really good, almost like a small campus community for at&ters (both interns and full-time). I do wish we had basic kitchen things but they may have added them over the past year! On the 2nd question of graduation, it really is need-based - if they need people in certain positions, they’ll let the managers know and you’ll get asked to interview/apply internally based on performance through the program and what you excel at selling the most! I hope this helps!

    Hi Moe, great video and thank you so much for all of the information. I had a question regarding the dress code for the B2B sales program. Was it business casual and did it have to be the AT&T brand colors? Thank you!!
