So many positives from today, Jenna making some good saves. our defence sliding into tackles, Charlie taking none of their nonsense and some lovely goals not to mention a red card that has been a long time coming. Looking at the Table, with two games in hand the potential six points could put Them level on points with us, providing we don’t drop any more. Since Borehamwod we’ve gone right off the boil.

Few of my observations: Thought the crowd was very quiet and actually that could be hard to play in, could drain confidence. We were nervous looking and didn’t play our game the first half. Too much asked of Liv when playing with Tess, and you could see the instant change when Ini came on. Thought Leah had her poorest game, surprised she lasted the 90 Our wingers in the first half gave our strikers nothing to work with Jenna is far better with the ball at her feet, and unfortunately Vic has been looking nervy and that breeds nervousness to the rest of the squad. We need a consistent player to play in behind the strikers, as you guys said, Charlie hasn’t shown yet why she is in there. Could the direct running of Mia work?

At half time down on the concourse I heard a few people, I suspect not regulars, commenting about the consistent passing back to the keeper and the delay in making a decision who to pass to. I will add to that our players are not quick to move and ask for the ball.

Could it be that the squad has lost confidence after the arsenal game?

I’m glad you all share the same opinions as me because sometimes I think I’m watching a different game. I do wish in these bigger games that we would switch to a back 4 we are far too exposed at the moment. The players still seem to be lacking that extra bit of energy not sure why that is when we’re not that far into the season. Thanks for the therapy session guys 😂

Re Wilko, every team in SWPL knows she is a prolific goal scorer and as such she is getting well marked by opponents. On Sunday Motherwell obviously came to Broadwood with the intention not to loose too many goals hence the 3-5-2. There were many points during the game when there were at least 9 Motherwell players in their own 18 yard area, and Wilko had 3 or 4 opposition players surrounding her and her weakness is she tries to play out of the situation and ends up loosing possession. In situations like that our players she be moving in to assist her by giving her options.😊

I totally agree on the comments regarding Liv, she does a power of work in the midfield but JP is not following her squad management mantra, especially when we have subs on the bench who could have filled the role. I don’t see the point of having players on the bench if they are not capable of playing at least thirty minutes.

Good work guys 👏🏻. The team seems to be lacking a bit of intensity in the last few games which doesn’t help against a low block. Nice to see Megan back and hopefully she gets a good amount of minutes. Hopefully I’ll be near you all at Ibrox on Saturday 💙

Alan, after watching the Podcast I watched the RTV post match interview with Camille. My take on her hesitation is she probably has to concentrate on the question due to the speed the interviewer speaks at combined with the accent. Give her a few more weeks and her ears will be better accustomed.

Any time the Rangers can earn/secure a victory (regardless of the scoreline) is a-okay we me. That said, in reference to the Champions League, from an overall belief, confidence building & entertainment standpoint, I would much rather ‘our’ *(Bonnie) Blue Belles* give a legit team like *Arsenal* a real competitive run for there money (if even in defeat) in said competition, than watch them wallop a team stuck in the bottom half of the *SWPL* standings on say, week 14 of this upcoming campaign. P.S. So glad to see/hear my 3 favourite *(of all things Gers & SWNT)* podcasters back in action again. Feeling almost as though you never left. Much love & respect.
