HUB was a group made up of former Rare Earth members Peter Hoorelbeke, Michael Urso and Tom Baird, with the first letter of each last name making the acronym HUB. This turned out to be their second, and last album, as they disbanded after Tom Baird was killed in a boating accident. The others went on to rejoin Rare Earth. Thank you for putting this up!
Not a problem at all! I noticed it was not on here so decided to do something about it!
Do have the files for this and can you please send me a link?
A good documentary
There late early 1970s all got into the uk charts ,
Pete has an incredibly soothing voice.
thank you for your smile esc music
Jimmy was an amazing singer, jumped right into a stressful job replacement and did amazing... I saw both tours w/ him (Beatin & Prisoners)
Did they take the Elizabeth Line from Heathrow to central London? Really the easiest way into town.
Landy turned out to be a menace, but let's be honest, something good was happening with Brian at this time. He sounds pretty solid throughout the interview, doesn't he? But what followed must have been a nightmare.
Good time for him. This is probably early 77 since he mentions two albums complete (Loves You and Adult/Child) with 15 Big Ones already being released.
We will always be left to wonder what could have been with Phil if he had overcome his addictions. I have feeling the best was yet to come. Long live The Rocker.
Clowns
Awesome!!!
Capital Records quit promoting the guys in a big way around this time and weren’t getting much radio airplay what a shame, they were still a creative force. 🎵
I could listen to Scott talk all day!
😍😍😍
Charlie was watching that night.
I forgot how good Jimmy and the band sounded on the Beatin' the Odds tour. Awesome! Thanks
You bet!
It's amazing how sharp he sounds here. Landy clearly steered him straight in the beginning; such a shame that his greed undid it all.
This sounds clearer than the one on the Feel Flows boxset
I like break away. Especially the checkoslavika one.
He sounds pretty together albeit voice got gruffer since ‘73. As others have mentioned, such a shame he really declined not even that long after this interview.
What a great interview
I like Jimmy's voice better
Jimmy definitely has a great voice!
These guys are the ultimate rockers, cannot be beaten, to have seen there heyday was magical..!❤
This is the best piece of media I discovered today
Thats what we love to hear!
Great band. I lost interest though, after Alan, Larry and Henry left…
The date on this is wrong. They are talking about 15 Big Ones, which didn't come out until 1976.
This special was from 1974 with the additional interviews added in 1976 to coincide with the Beach Boys first studio album in 4 years and their 15 year anniversary as a group. This was heard into early 1975 and again in the summer of 1976 with the additional material.
@Retro-Records I see. It was cool to hear Ricky Fataar interviews. I don't think I have heard him interviewed from that period before!
Beatles; we have best harmonies BB: hold my board 😊
Painful to have lost Danny and so much momentum but Jimmy did what he could 🎉
Thanks for sharing this. It’s good to see em havin a good time! After they Survived that crazy childhood not to mention the Legendary Music they created they certainly deserved it!! That movie made me wanna Hug every one of em! 😢✌️
I gotta find this album!
Bruce was a big deal for them getting big in UK. Kudos to him
Culzean Castle- and they've all such Scottish names-Jardine, Wilson, Love and even 'the Bruce' Johnston!! 🤠😎
Kaye Stevens was really good to the Vietnam vets--entertained in country. Kaye and Dennis made an "interesting" couple!
God I wish this became a hit. This is a one-two punch of a single.
Fully agree, wish the promotion was better
The beatles were treated like demi gods and beach boys unfairly treated like old has beens totally in the trash can so sad that happened 😢
IM A Fan always will be cheers r to the BBs ❤😊
They weren't english part of British invasion because of that they were ignored so sad by American radio 😢
The beach boys were always under rated by their own American public the European market were more accepting of their new music and embraced it
The boy thing missing from this wonderful document is Brian.
After watching this for a while, I can’t help but getting “all choked up” with each passing scene. Carl and Dennis are terribly missed. And every song creates goosebumps and memories. Thank you, “Friends.”
Canned Heat GRANDES FOREVER !!!!
Who's butt was mooning us? 8:15 😅😅😅😅😅😅 12:03 they hold nothing back 😮😅
People who go to great lengths like Mike Love to cover their heads in giant goofy hats in summer time because they are balding as to not look ridiculous I guess end up looking ridiculous thus bringing it more attention not less. Nothing will top the silver hard hat he wore to the hall of fame induction says everything you need to know about him before …….he opens his mouth. 🤣🤣
12.19 The City Barge is the pub that features in The Beatles Help! movie. Probably wasn’t a coincidence that they were taken there to film. The pub is still there and is worth a visit but don’t order 2 lager and limes and 2 lager and limes…they didn’t get it.
Brian Wilson is a musical genius. One of the best Rock n Roll groups ever. ☮️💟
Amazing to see this historical footage.
God, I love this man so much.
Now there’s just shootings
"Celebrate the News" is one of the best deep cuts The Beach Boys ever recorded. Dennis really turned out to be a marvelous songwriter. I'm pleased that he's finally gotten the recognition he deserves. I feel so bad for him that he didn't live to see it happen.
Good shots of the beach boys. I wish I was part of it.
waaaaay ooooohh aaaaahhh oooooohhh!
