The shoes that DO say it are the "pro/skate" line of shoes. For example, "the skate sk8 hi." This line of shoes is higher quality and you mostly see them at actual skate shops. The shoes that do NOT say it are just normal shoes you would get from the mall or Penney's/Kohls. Ultimately, not as high quality.

Have fun with it! Slapstick is harder than it looks. I found the 4' pretty limiting on what you can do as far as grinds. Went with 8' and alot more fun honestly.

Those Heated Wheel decks are sick. I like the shape. The selling point for the Stage 4s are that they are supposed to turn better. I think Indy released them to compete with Ace which is supposed to be based on an older version of Indy. I have some Stage 4 166s and also the next size smaller, but, I switched to Stage 11 169s. I liked the Stage 4s at first, but, then, the bushings hardened up to where they felt too tight for me. I like my trucks loose. I ride Stage 11 159s on a lot of my setups and was under the impression that they turned better than 169s. But, then, I realized that Indy bushings hardness seems inconsistent, even for brand new trucks. I think the hardness of the stock bushings can be different even with a new set of trucks. My theory is that it depends on how long the trucks have been sitting on the shelf at the shop. I recently switched to Bones soft, which I like. I haven't used them long enough to determine whether they will harden up too much like what I've seen with Indy bushings. I've even tried the softer Indy bushings, and super soft, and found that they were inconsistent. I found that they weren't really softer. The stock ones seemed to be softer in some cases. But, like I said, the hardness seems to be inconsistent, even with brand new bushings. I always thought the turn on 169s was worse than 159s. I don't know if truck width makes a difference, but, the 169s seem decent with Bones soft bushings. Turn will definitely be different depending on the wheelbase of the deck also. The Stage 4 bushings are taller. I'm assuming Bones bushings wouldn't work well on them. They work good on Stage 11s. Maybe I could loosen up my Stage 4s more. Normally, I have the kingpin nut flush with the top of the kingpin with the plastic lock fully threaded. Maybe I could loosen it a little more, but, I had a nut fall off while skating down the road before and the hanger fell off. Just glad I wasn't on a ramp or going down a big hill at the time and was only going slow on flat.

I found SPFs slide much more cleanly when you use bearings with built-in spacers (like Race Reds, but there are better options for less money than those). It takes the side to side slop out of the bearings and that takes the chatter out of SPFs on concrete.
