Fantastic interview.
Fascinating man. Of course I at one time owned Bert and I and A Maine Pot Hellion.
Wind screens on an RE-20 for conversation? Hmmm.
Thank you for having me! I accidentally slipped with our artist -- Page Eastburn O'Rourke did the painting of the clammers, and Catherine Breer did the parade chairs!
He showed up and needed a nap? 😂 I've never heard of an interview like that. How hospitable of you to accommodate William Wegman.
thank you for the introduction to this healer and her book!

Such a helpful conversation about allowing ourselves to evolve as artists. Great job of explaining your movement toward abstraction without completely abandoning your past creative work. ❤

Hi there, I'm new here and I'll like to see Thanks for sharing this journey to overcoming addiction. You've shared hope and proved personal encouragement is something that will go a really long way to winning this battle just as I always discuss in my channel for building hope. Liking and subscribing now
I’ve been following the gallery and Radio Maine and I’m finally getting to visit tomorrow! I’m so looking forward to it and really enjoyed this discussion with Emma Wilson and hearing about the philosophy and work happening at the gallery. Thank you!
Lucky you! I got to visit the gallery last summer (dream come true from Texas!) but Emma wasn't there. I did, however, get to see in person some beautiful pieces by my favorite artists so that was a thrill!!! enjoy your visit!
Thanks for following the Portland Art Gallery and Radio Maine! And, I'm very glad to hear that you were able to visit the gallery in person.
One of the things that I like about Brian's work is that it's clear to me that he makes paintings, not 'pictures'. The paintings work as paintings, regardless of any recognizable subject matter. Essentially one of the things that draws a viewer like myself in is the relationships that are presented in the shapes, colors, textures and marks he's made. In that sense the work is successful when one completely disregards the 'picture' so many may get stuck on... or the recognizable representation of an object/thing or place. Can his work be looked upon as successful designs that utilize color, shape, texture and other elements of pure mark-making? I believe the answer is yes. I also believe therein lies the strength of the work, and perhaps the identity as "an Emerson" he stated as something he's striving for. Very good sensibilities, and excellent insights with regard to leaving much for the viewer to bring to and participate in while engaging with the work.
Thank you for a wonderful interview and love that Jane is looking inward to her soul Just a beautiful experience to let it happen! I loved this podcast so much and meeting Jane and her work!
Maybe an eye transplant to start.

EEF!!!!
Brian Emerson channels his art inspiration direct from the collective consciousness of human creativity. Only select chosen ones are allowed this admin access to the source. This is why when people say “if I can do it , so can you” is nonsense , You can’t because this esoteric skill tree has not been unlocked for you. Just let Brian do it and buy his art.
Best interview yet. Seems like a cool guy.
Such a nice interview and great questions! Fun to see Ethan in a more professional setting😄
Seeing Ethan have a proper professional podcast interview is so jarring after watching Brain Leak LMAO
I watched the newest brain leak episode and then am now watching this right after lol, very different.
What an interesting interview! A wealth of experiences and knowledge for one woman to have lived. And to remember in such vivid detail. I'm jealous. Worth every second of listening time. Thanks for interviewing Martica.😊
What lovely colors, composition, (and artist). Thank you Dr. Belisle.

Philadelphia never had black and white cars . Soooooo.....

Had his artistic license and registration. Damn critics.
How very interesting to listen to Mallika as I'm painting imagining how her approach can help individual artists develop more clarity with their brand. Including me. Love her energy although it may be hard to keep up with. 😅
