hi! idk if you'll see this but this is really one of the best vids of cql that i have seen out here. the color grading complemented the aspect ratio and the song choice so well in that u turned the story of wwx into a truly majestic cinematic experience in this single vid alone... i can see all the care you put into making sure the scenes went well with each lyric. not to mention the ridiculously ample number of cuts you did in this vid, but the timing was so purposeful and perfect it didn't feel hectic at all... one aspect i love about cql is the two leads' acting, and i feel your vid was very mindful about letting the viewer take in all of their microexpressions (i've rewatched cql a couple of times now, but really this vid made me appreciate their acting a lot more). i started applauding subconsciously at the cut here 2:01- not only was it so in sync with taylor's voice, but the transition from young and ever intelligent wei ying realizing he has probably just seen a part of lwj that nobody else has ever seen, to older and wiser wwx, worn out by war and many deaths, grieving over a future that he might have to spend with lwj by his side as he has always been (lan zhan u clown)... and that cut to qiongqi path devastated lwj here at 2:50 was just criminal (in the most complimentary way possible)... anyways, your vision of wei wuxian, lan wangji and their story is beyond impeccable- thank you for sharing it with us and i hope you are safe and well wherever you are!

Thank you for this beautiful video. I am a Johnny- come- lately to The Untamed. It was only during this lunar new year when I started binge-watching it on Netflix and could not believe how hard I fell for the movie series, most of all to the two main leads.I tried hard to look for materials related to them( including the infamos 227 incident which brought disaster to XZ & damaged his friendship with WYB.) What a prize to pay for being the most famous & much- loved couple in Chinese movie history in recent times! I had to delay my watching the end of the story( put it on hold …like an anti- climax ) bcoz I need to buffer my tangible feeling of not wanting to see the end of their being together. Perhaps I will pray for a miracle for another drama series for them with an interesting story line revolving around them.That’s how much I love them. I am sure you know this feeling well.❤😢

I’m not a fan of Taylor swift but this song really fits with the untamed. The way lanzhan hates weiying and slowly warms up to him, just for him to die and not meet lanzhan for 16 years. And then finally seeing him again. This series is beautiful, I know I’m late to the fandom (5 years late😭) but this series will be in my heart until the end of time. The actors, the visuals, the tension, the cinematography, the scenery, the wangxian song, everything about this series is beautiful. In my head, there is many, many more episodes, starting this series I thought, “I’ll never finish this”, but now I wish there was more, a season 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 ect. I literally cried for a week after I finished, I rarely ever cry for a series (I think I need therapy). This series will live in my heart…..forever ❤️💚
