Hey! We booked the tour the day before while we were on patong beach where there was a lot of tour vendors. I highly recommend doing this when you get to Phuket, you can always negotiate the price as well!

Hey! I defiantly recommend solo traveling to those destinations. Bangkok is too big to enjoy unless you do extensive research and like the city life. There is so much traffic so I don't even recommend wasting your time there, maybe just a fly into city and stay a max of 2 days and spend the rest of the time in Chiang Mai! We had load of fun there and you don't get stuck in traffic and there's soooo much to do there as well, a very affordable city! Elephants and what not, you get everything that Bangkok offers without the hustle and bustle of the city life. You can substitute Bangkok for Koh Samui which is a smaller island, relaxing and a few days tours. But if you want the real deal go to Phuket, THERE IS SO MUCH TO DO!!!! You get to do the long tail boat, tons of island hopping, its a bigger version of Chiang Mai with an ocean. Keep in mind Chiang Mai is not boarded by the ocean! @@stactasteoflife2079 Once you are in Phuket, go to Petong Beach which is a tourist hub and there are so many tour vendors there! So many packages to choose from depending on what you want, half day/full day and what islands to go to! The phi phi island tour package we had included the monkey island and the whole thing was $80 for 3 island, lunch and 3 activities! I recommend doing a those tours bc they come with a tour guide! If you were staying for a fews weeks then you could do it with an independent long tail, but the tours are worth the money! Let me know if you have any more questions! Have a safe trip!!

@@mazvitamachiri2360 hey! You can exchange money when you go! I definitely recommend exchanging like $100-200 USD, but you can also use your debit card at the atm to get money the rates are better! By using the ATM you don’t have to worry about exchange rates! Also i recommend booking tours 24 hrs prior so the tours won’t sold out!
