3D Drawing and Repairing the e46 330ci Electric Glove Box Lock #51168262566 #51167020044
in this video I went through the 3D drawing and die-cast of the lock gear of the e46 330ci electric glove box lock. The whole process took me about 3 moths, due the quarantine and lockdown here where I live. I used the #solidworks instead of #sketchup.
The file below is the STL for the lock gear itself. It's in the right dimensions, for P&P. If your are going to print it and test it, be sure to put the screws in place, in order to hold the gear in place when the motor spins. Otherwise, the gear will come out of its place and you may think it's not working properly.

hello friend. my soft top had a problem after they welded my car. it stopped opening and I changed the soft top module and it started working again. problem is that it is slow, like without strength and needs help to move. Probably my new module are wrong too? Or you think about the pump is afected too? Please help me

Hello, thanks to your videos! Did you find out the problem, can you please answer? I have the same problem, roof moving very slow, need to help with hands going both ways. No leaks. I tried to change the hydrolic pump, but the same. My pump was restored year ago, so i think it's the control unit. I'm going to get some used control unit to check if thats the problem. Anyone got some ideas? Thanks!

Hello there.. sorry for the late response. When I bought the car, the string were in place, but it was missing the plastic sheets. But, anyway, I saw a video on youtube of someone replacing the batwings... I'll upload a video this weekend showing you the path for the strings, ok ? Thanks for writing here.

Woah! That was super easy and quick. Was there a carbon fibre texture on that piece? And it wasnt clear after the paint job. Was the texture retained? Looked a lot better though.
