This is class man. Can I ask - how are you having one control panel control 3 systems? Like when you switch the HDMI does the controller change system as well?
I know it's a long shot to get a response from a video made over a year ago... But what are you using as a switcher to swap from USB to HDMI all whilst using the same arcade controls?
Wow,this is really good job!May i ask you please?the joystick that you use and buttons,it simple sets that i can buy them from ali?It compatible for nintendo switch?
This is really dope man! I love the design of it all. even the cup holder idea. If you could share how you set up the usb switch and hdmi that would be appreciated.
@@smartfixnc7625 You’re killing me smalls. It’s been 3 years so I’m guessing you’re over this by now. But this is amazing and the world needs an update.
Just bought a new house, close in the middle of August. Once I'm settled in there and have things setup we'll have a part 2! Plus I have another epic arcade to showcase!!
Hard to say honestly. It took me almost two years to build because I did it slowly and kept adding onto it. Started out as a retro only bartop, then turned into a full size multi console full-sized arcade. Best guess is $1000, minus the consoles and games. Heres my rough breakdown: Wood - $60 Paint - $30 Bondo - $10 27" 1080p monitor -$120 usb switcher - $40 hdmi switcher - $60 piano hinge - $10 logitech speaker/subwoofer system - $45 Sanwa buttons/sticks - $100 Marquee light $30 RGB lighting $50 smart power strip - $50 raspberry pi with power supply - $50 SD card - $20 Brooks UFB (controller PCB's that recognize XB1, N Switch, PS4, PC, Etc.) - $200 Random shit/tools needed - PRICELESS
and theres more than that, t molding, plexiglass, other paint (bezel), door handle (on the back, will be in next video), shelving, hardware (nuts, carriage bolts, screws glue, fasteners)
I love the design and how clean everything looks. I've been looking into multi-console arcade cabinet mods and I was wondering if you had the design plans, and maybe hardware specs, because I found this design to be one of the best on youtube currently. But I'm really fascinated at how great it turned out!
Thank you! I do not have specific layout plans as this was honestly a "rough sketch build" that (surprisingly) came out great after a plethora of of touch ups/adjustments!

Really nice cabinet, how r those hdmi and USB buttons connect to change inputs?
There is a USB switcher and HDMI switcher, I wired the switch buttons on both of them to the top of the control panel with 20 gauge wire and solder
Hey, do you have one usb switch for each board? If not which usb switch do you use?
How much did this all cost you?

Nice! Where did you get the beer holders? 😳
I got the cup holders from amazon. I used my vinyl cutter to make the mario and luigi logos and the beer quotes on the inside!

You deserve more view for all this hard work
Much appreciated my friend! Definitely a lot more work than you originally anticipate when preparing a project like this!
How hard was this to make? I really wanna work on a project like this, but with my n64 and other Nintendo consoles!
Aquaticnauim it was a lot of work to be honest. Way more than originally anticipated. But most good things are! I’ll do a better video soon!
