Building the 5.3L part 1. First video! Gapping the rings!
Instructions unclear, got my prostate stuck
Thanks man, I was getting stuck on step 1 until I saw this video.
Glad I can help. You’re now UA-cam certified!
Easy part
Lmao 😂
Can we video the engine being set on the narrator
If I hit 10,000 subs
This is the best video of all time!!! So full of great information!!
STUPID, ENGINE WITH TRANSMISSION is not and engine alone
Well the engine came out didn’t it, haha
About to try this brb
Let me know how it goes ha
@@WaterMelonGarage came out just like you said actually, pretty crazy. Just loosened the engine bolt and it came right out😳
@@R06NSoh yeah, just gotta get that engine bolt. I don’t get what the big deal is ha
@@WaterMelonGarage rookies, man
Maybe next time don't go into to much detail. It makes it seem complicated.
Aw man, I tried to make it so I could understand, sorry ha
😂😂😂
What car is that
It’s a 1992 Supra
Yep, thats how you do it. Now we're all experts!
Yeah! UA-cam certified!
Thats one way but it's not the only way!
True, but so far, it’s the easiest way I’ve found ha
@@WaterMelonGarage Hey my man I was just joking! Good Job though!
My motion raceworks is smoking pretty decent at idle is thst normal or what
Well, I’d say probably not. Some smoke is ok, but mine was a lot, so I figured something was wrong. I check compression and 3 cylinders were low on compression. Think I burned up my piston rings.
@@WaterMelonGarage Mines a fresh build only has about 1500-2k miles on it just installed this can today and it's smoking about like yours but it goes away as soon as it comes out I wonder if it's a moisture vaper
@pitbullfan1234 hmm, I don’t know. I noticed a fuel smell in mine, and when I hit boost, oil would shoot out and smoke everywhere
Low compression is good for turbos. The cylinders with 100+ psi need to come down 😂
So I should have just turbo’d 3 of the cylinders? Haha
Exactly 😂
Your new tag line….”Oops, that ain’t good! Oh well.”
Ha, sometimes that’s all you can say
Makes sense. NGK is for rice burners and watermelon supras. Use AC Delco plugs for GM. Brand matters for plugs, and material
Man, that happened to us.We put a new motor in the truck and it had this crazy.Miss couldn't find it and so we took it to another mechanic. And he found the crack in the spark plug
Yeah, it’s a simple thing I should have checked already, but all the plugs are new so I didn’t think about it
i bet the person helping take off that turbo was dumb
Naw I gave you the hard job haha
first comenttttt
Ha yeah!
U don’t have any parts off your gto tht u would sell
Maybe, what do you need?
@@WaterMelonGarage I need the front bumper cover if u got it and the cover tht goes on the top of the dash where people usually put gauges on top of the ac controls
@@WaterMelonGarageif u have the front turn signal plugs tht would be good
Emotional damage
Permanent emotional damage
That beat though! ❤
Yeah it does sound pretty sick
IT'S THE TENSIONER PULLEY FOR THAT BELT
Yeah, you’re right
Belt tensioner is your issue you can see it moving when you move to the right
Yeah! You’re right, hopefully it’s an easy fix
Unfortunately you may have to redo it a couple of times because its a stupid design thats likely to leak if you dont drop the oil pan, install the timing cover then reinstall the oil pan.
Yeah I’ve learn that now ha. I redid it and it’s not leaking under the front cover anymore. Hopefully that fixes it
You’re better off doing it yourself anyways.
Yup. I’m right there with ya man! But hey, think of all the skills and abilities we will have accumulated throughout life! And not to mention all the money saved!!!
I feel this so bad lol ❤
Hence I am a 56 year young female Handyman. Often Employed for diy hobs by men who work in the building trade. I'm cheaper than they charge per hour. 😂😂😂

It’s a very educational but exhausting position to be in
Well now I know cars are a waste of money
Lol imagine
Happens to all of us 😂 live and learn
Ha yeah, definitely learning a lot on this
Well…………… 😂
Well well well ha
Nice stubby
Thanks! Ha I use it every day
Still better than a ev lol
Ha true true
@@WaterMelonGarage I'm in Australia and they are having the same problems as America lol. Lots of people are pissed about the battery replacement cost and seen lots of dead Tesla's for sale here cheap like under 10k with dead battery lol
Ugh, this is how the stupid side of my brain talks about my audi 🤣
Yeah, my brain talks like this too often ha
Friends till the end like Chucky!
93 Toyota pickup with legendary 22re still running perfectly fine at 435k!
Amazing truck, amazing engine! Probably not even halfway through its life
I just sold my tacoma with 568780 miles to my friend 2 weeks ago, 4cl 5sp 4x4
Only 270 my 12v Cummins is on 290 and original transmission and engine and still going strong 😂😂
man, those Cummins are solid
I have a 2002 silverado 2500hd 8.1l with Allison trans with 600259 miles
Oh dang! The 8.1 is a beast!
@WaterMelonGarage yes it is. I pull my bobcat with 3 attachments and will do 75 mph like nothing is behind. I bought it with 224600 miles, and I only replaced the power steering pump at 456000 miles. Never let me down
I fully support this endeavor. 169th like. Giggity.
Nice ha
my 07 cruiser has 260k💀shoutout to my sister for dat one
Have an 08 f-150 351 thousand miles still runs like a champ
Dang! The 5.4L???
i had 303k on my moto piaggio from 98 XD
never dieee
Ha, I don’t even know what that is!
My dad had an old 02 Silverado that he put 350K on before getting rid of it
Probably out there somewhere, still running
I find it funny how people think if you have 20 700,000 km on your truck that it’s done here’s the thing a truck engine breaks in at 350,000 miles so you’re good for another 250,000
Ha so true!
My 01 Lincoln Navigator is at 268k still hauling ass lol
Dang! That 5.4L?
Just make sure you plug sensors in
Psh, that only matters if you want all your gears
I have 06 express 3500 with 360 thousand on it and have hit 7 deer and the think keeps going best van ever
Sheesh, call it the Deer Ender! Ha
7 separate deer or did you hit like 2-3 deer here and there
@C03_ ha a whole family all at once
