Hey 👋🏾 I have some questions about living off campus because I’m considering living off campus my freshman year too. Did living off campus affect socializing and making friends? Did you still get a meal plan to eat at the msc when on campus? Would you recommend living off campus for incoming freshman at pv? Thanks!
Hey girl!! I would NOT recommend living off campus your freshman year. Get the full college experience! I had a harder time making friends and knowing what was going on throughout the campus because I wasn’t able to meet people and bond with every durning Panther Camp (the week before school starts. The freshman dorms create activities for everyone to get to know each other and explore the campus). My first year was durning the pandemic so no one was really on campus either. But I would still recommend living on campus for at least the first semester of your freshman year. Then if you don’t like it the first semester then move off campus.
