@@LRa33it It's the heat range for Ludicrous plus to show when you are in optimum range. Once you reach that, the data on the left side of the screen will start displaying how many kw of power are being discharged.

I think you’re able to get an update, I have one I emailed the place I got it from and they said if nothing wrong with it don’t update it cause some people have reported it bricking on them

@@bearcat9156 I got mine from Alibaba it took 2 months or more to get here the shipper shifted to the wrong address and have to resend it and then the shipping company that they switch to lost a scooter for about a week or two in their inventory it was a nightmare

This is a new firmware. Actually the front wheel wasn't spinning out as much. It felt like it was much more controlled, which was strange because the acceleration was noticeably stronger.

Very Curious. I could tell it was faster. Seemed a little more controlled also.

It is the one that came with it. It is 3 amps.

The previous speed was 87 mph

It would be nice to keep it set at mph, but I'm regularly going over 70 now and don't want to give that up. I'm in Key West this week, then Colorado next week, then will be back making some more videos after that.

@zipschneider6693 new update does let you do over 70! You just have to go into the red Chinese writing on the app settings. That is the field weakening put both on 9. I hit 73mph today!. The benefits of update are mph stays after you set it once. It also feels more controlled less tire squealing. Although there still is alot. Lol! Update is a go! I would recommend it!

Update does go 75mph! I only got 73 but still had room to pull the throttle so I'm sure it will hit 75mph or more!

​@TeslaP3D I know that he had mentioned that AilenRides sent him a new controller after he bricked his, but who's to say they didn't have an over abundance of first production K6 controller on hand and just sent him one of those to replace his bricked one. If it was my company, I would have done the same thing. I mean, I bought them already, i have them on stock and I'm not going to just toss those and send him the updated controller that I dont have in stock, just because he might want his to go over 70 mph. He had the original, and they made it right by replacing it with the original. It sucks for him, but that's business.

@edgurash834 I let Alien Rides know about the firmware and let them know what this thing can do with the update.

​@@PerformanceRavenDid you get a response back? Now I'm wondering if AilenRides has known about this firmware update, allowing it to go 70+ mph. But they've been hush-hush about letting their customers know about it. Simply because, anytime you do these types of things to ebikes, it has the potential to cause over heating issues, which can lead to future problems. I know that AilenRides offers their "Ailen Care" and "Alien Care+" programs, which essentially could cost them more money if a customer were to be so inclined to sign up for these offers and then do the firmware update stressing out their K6. Also, I know they have one of the best warranties on these K6's. Two years, I believe. They could just be concerned that the firmware upgrade could cost them a lot more in warranty repairs to their customers. When people start finding out that they can do this firmware update, I wouldn't be surprised if AilenRides treats it as a breach of warranty. They coud start telling their customers, "If you do the increased speed firmware update it will void an warranty offered by AilenRides". If you get what mean? I can totally see why they are acting ignorant to the firmware update.

The brakes are actually very, very good. As for the turning, it takes a little getting used to. The rear suspension makes you feel like the back end floats a little. Once you start getting used to it, it actually gets pretty good at higher speeds..I've done some sweeping curves at 50+ mph and I felt comfortable. At slower speeds, the turning radius isn't too great. It's doable, but definitely not as sharp as a stand-up scooter.

Now he has a new motherboard he should be able to.

I'm probably biased, but I think it's worth buying one. The firmware update is real easy. I didn't know what firmware to try, and a buddy of mine knew which one it was and passed the info to me.

​@@PerformanceRaveni see. So did they not have anymore instock with the gold front forks and red brake levers? I noticed yours are red and your break levers are black and not red. The one they advertise has red brake levers and gold front forks.
