@@petedetects7012 never used the equinox, the only Minelab machine I've used is the vanquish 540 There was no rhyme or reason to targets I skip, some of them may have been falses and some may have been legitimate targets, I just follow my nose so to speak, just dig the ones that catch my attention

@@mikeycod7377 that's interesting, I havnt seen an American coin without clad, I found a (I think 1968 or 1967) American proof dime once, I almost gave it away cause I didn't know, I just had it with my American clad, it had some gunk on it so I couldn't tell it looked shinyer than normal, until one day before I got rid of my American clad I bought a Roosevelt album to fill out, that's when I noticed the coin was a S mint mark, I soaked it in acetone and the gunk came off, and it's still very shiny I check for mint marks now as I find them

@@mikeycod7377 yup this will be the last detecting video for a while I think At least winter isn't as long as it used to be, when I was a kid the first snow was on Halloween sometimes, and it stuck around longer too in the spring

@digginggopher where I live we got about 12 inches the last few days but, where my parents live is about 30 minutes away they got 64 inches 😓

@@mikeycod7377 in my area we used to get about that, the plow piles on the sides of the road would be like 8 feet high, it was like driving through a tunnel, it's a thing of the past here now, so far this year we only got one big snow fall and the rest of the snow falls were pretty small

@@416TreasureHunters this was filmed January 1st, it was 2° and wet out, but I got out one last time for an hour, I don't live in Toronto and my town has been snow for weeks, so it was nice being able to hunt while I was in Toronto for the 30th-1st

@@digginggopher I sure hope Austin is ok. I picked up on a few things....everybody was being critical on his last few videos.... When you and I know he is running the best live videos out there... That was just 1 I picked up on there is more. What I am hoping for him is that he got a good job somewhere and that's what is going on. The rest I am keeping to my self. Because it deals with his private life. I don't step over that line. I just hope all is good for him. I picked it up from what he said in videos.

@@kissthefishHiHoSilver paystreak superfreak's videos convinced me to buy it, I've never used another shovel metal detecting to compare, but it's been great to me so far, don't think I'll ever break it, I used to joke I'll buy another one if I ever lose it or it gets stolen, cause I will never break it, so don't need to mention that

@@digginggopher same here, got mine after watching paystreak. I remember him showing some small cracks on the back of the shovel and didn't know what he was referring to. mine cracked in the exact same fashion 2 years ago but still performs like the day I bought it. HH

I think I'll have better luck at silver at the back of the field where there's less targets, close to the school I found a ton of junker targets, that video is on Jan 7th

@@ScoopyJoe yup, I started to think it was gold again yesterday but did a specific gravity test and the number I got was almost perfect for stainless steel, so it's probably just stainless, don't know how they coloured it though

@@zzzzzzzzzzaper I like it, still getting used to it though, I havnt even tried it in original tones yet I've only tried square tones, and I don't even know what the audio filter is, or the offset yet, I'm going to start saving up for the small coil, it will be released soon, the 9in coil is a little big, when im on the legend I always use the lg24 and on the deus the hf elliptical

@@digginggopher Yes. I also am spoiled by the Deus1 Small 6x9 hf. The 9 inch round hf coil is ok too but not as good imo. Both are great . I have the 5 inch round coil for the legend. Honestly I haven't used it as much as I wanted yet... I will say that It made the legend keep up with my better machines I have. I tested my machines against each other, for over six months giving each equal time In my yard that has been searched by the same machines. My X/P machines are still finding coins.... NOT so much for the legend. And actually gave it extra time. Then pull out the ORX bang out 2 coins in 15 min.. Not just one time either. I admit I did some naughty things to the ORX to improve it that others can't do I changed some goodies internally just in the reciever. made it a lil more stable. I found a cold contact point inside re did it and boom! It was intermediate causing it to be a bit noisy.....Now it runs smooth. When I get time lol I am going to go thru the deus 1 see if I can do a lil in it. Time is my problem I have too many things going at once right now and only one psyco with hands on . hahahaha. Not enough me to go around.

@@mikeycod7377 the ring I find tomorrow, I now think is really gold, it passed a 14k acid test, I tried a density test but my cylinder only goes up by 1ml increments and this barely raised at all, but if I assume it raised it by 0.2ml it passes a 14k density test, I tested it with a sigma pro mini, and it failed the preset option of a 14k gold/silver/copper mix, but it put the surface resistivity at 133 micro ohms which is right in the center of a 14k alloy according to AI I think I found a 14k ring, need to get it tested at a jeweler, the ring is unmarked and there's a a line on the inside of the ring that makes it look cheap, all reasons I thought it was stainless steel after my initial thought it was gold, if it is gold it's the first gold I've found at a k-8 school

That's what I thought it was, but was u sure if the age, tbh I think it was newer because the beads seem kinda cheap
