An already frankly disgusting pudding, she didnt beat the eggs, she basiclly mugged the omelette at gunpoint. To top it all off, she carpet bombs with podwered sugar, may aswell shovel it on like coal. My god how did people in the 70s make it to old age if this was the cooking advice given?

That omelette 🤮 my stomach is cramping just at the sight of it.

Everything Fanny cooked in this episode was awful... from the mincemeat pie to that horrendous vomlette. Nonetheless, she was very entertaining to watch.

Was Fanny a drag show. Surely it's a man.

It's astonishing how crude her recipes were. Totally artless. Even in those days people must've watched the series to gasp at her pompous ineptitude.

And remember these episode were done in one take with no cuts, hence the mistakes and fluffs left in. But she really doesn't loose concentration, a true pro.

It's such a shame her legacy these days rests solely on the Christmas series when in fact this is her last BBC series and very different to her earlier series. She was a great cook and some of the stuff that's shown up from the mud 60s on UA-cam shows this, people mock the Christmas series but check out the earlier stuff. She was superb and made genuinely lovely dishes

All the 5 Christmas episodes are on BBC I Player. She was brilliant.... a bit mad, but i always enjoyed her programmes in the 1970's 😊

Amusing to watch as she doesn't really teach you anything. These mincemeat things look disgusting, too much mincemeat and too sickly. This being said, I just love watching her, a true treasure.
