In the digital era, I used the X-Pro1 and X-Pro2 APS-C mirrorless while I waited for Leica to make a digital rangefinder that I liked. When Leica finally produced the Leica M10, I bought my dream camera. I loved being able to use my 21/35/90mm M6 lens kit on my M10. However, I really prefer using my X-Pro2 with 16/23/56mm lenses.
That’s awesome to hear, it’s crazy that there’s an actual contest between a Fuji and a Leica.
Thanks for your opinion! How much did you pay for it ?
I paid 1400 USD, for one in a very good condition.
There's many more photo groups to fall into than just two. Maybe for your age group but the world of photography ( and photographers ) is huge and varied.
You are 100% correct, but this is a UA-cam video, my friend. You can't start a video with "There are many kinds of photographers, here are two of them..."
My first Fujifilm camera was the X100V. My second was the XPro3. Sold the X100V for the VI then immediately sold the VI. Truth be told the Xpro3 stopped me from using the V, so truly had no reason to pick up the VI. But all said and done the Xpro is the one I couldn’t bring myself to sell because it’s just a way more practical and fun Camera. I forgot to mention I owned an M11 while owning all of those other cameras 😅. I no longer have any Fuji cameras, but the only one I do miss and still think about is the Xpro 3. At some point, you may want to try manual focus lenses on that body, Voigtlander, or M mount. I used the native Voigtlander lenses, and some actual M mount lenses because I I was using the leica side-by-side with the Xpro and knew I would eventually make the transition. Enjoy that Camera, I truly think it’ll be a unicorn camera one day.
You make me want to leave everything and go shoot with it right now, thanks for the comment, I am really hoping that I will fall in love with this camera and shoot street with it for years to come.
I use the Canon Powershot G15, for street photography.
Sounds awesome, it's small and compact and can really shine as a street camera
Leica is pronounced like "like" and then "a" like in "Art" - I also own the X-Pro3 and love it,. prefer the 33/1.4 though.
I can understand why Most people would prefer the 33 but I still love the “character” of the 35 too much.
@@TheBenGoren understandable!
🤣 You are wrong ! It is the 28mm focal length that are "boring", ALWAYS either too wide or too narrow, get a 24mm (or 20/21mm) and/or a 35mm Lens ! A 85mm together with those wide angle Lenses and you are perfect to go, if only two Lenses, then 24 and 85mm.
You may be on to something! ;)
Loved your humour!
That's the best compliment to hear 🙏🏻
I want an xpro3 but the prices are too ridiculous
completely agree, that's why I've been searching for months for an "ok" price, but you can buy the amazing X-Pro2 for much less these days or wait for the pro4 that will be coming out soon.
@@TheBenGoren The XPRO2/3 are cult cameras. I hope you are right about the price dropping when the XPRO4 is released next year. I’m not counting on that. Mask On Nurse Marty (Ret)
@martingreenberg870 I’m really hoping it will, but it won’t be a big drop in price that’s why I bought mine without waiting for next year
Nice one mate, keep it up! Btw that Fuji 35mm without the square hood is a crime and should be banned from existence
We are gonna have to agree to disagree on this one ;)
Thanks for the video, colleague. Interestingly, I was obsessed with megapixels and focusing speed and those things, but I've always had this old desire for vintage gear, maybe because of my age (42 hehe), and I'm really thinking about buying a vintage lens like the Helios 44-2 or the original German Carl Zeiss 58mm f/2 and using it with my Sony camera. So, I consider myself part of the first group too. Keep up the good work
Thanks!, Vintage lenses can really add a unique character to your photography. Excited to hear what you'll think about the Helios or Zeiss!
So to get the 50mm look on my Canon M50, I pick my Sigma 30mm (because APS-C, equals 48mm full frame), right?
Correct, it’s about 45-48mm depending on the camera
@@TheBenGoren M50 in my case. Thank you! 🙏
Man… putting the APS-C in there is the best.
🙏🏻
Best explanation I got on these topics so far. Would love to see your channel taking off and see thousands of subscribers!
Wow, thank you! :)
I've bought a secondhand canon 7D mark ii just as a beginner amateur . Indeed I learned some tips of photography from you in this video . Many thanks to you from Morocco . Wish you all the best !
That's awesome! enjoy getting into photography there is nothing like it, and I'm glad my tips helped you out, Thanks for the comment!

Nice lol
I enjoy watching your videos. You have an incredible presence, and your projection and charisma really stand out. Your videos not only entertain but also add a lot of value. Thank you for the advice you give; it really helps to become a better photographer and to tell stories through images. Keep going! You're amazing. Greetings from a fellow colleague in Miami, Florida
I kid you not, I think that's the nicest thing someone has ever commented on the Internet. Thanks for all the support it really helps me to keep going.
@@TheBenGoren Always here, any time, keep going!
I have both the Fuji and Sony system. If I can only choose one body then it would be a7cii. It is just more versatile.
I totally agree, I think that the a7cii and cr are probably the best "versatile" cameras today

Very good video, brother. Fujifilm certainly has something magical in its photographs that makes photography enjoyable. Thank you for the video. Greetings from Florida.
I couldn't agree more! :)
Thank you, colleague, for the information. Just as it's important to know how to use photographic equipment and understand light, composition, etc., it's equally important to choose the right equipment, especially when starting out in the photographic world. Thanks for the information. Keep it up, you have talent.
Totally agree, and again thanks for the support🙏🏻
@@TheBenGoren "With pleasure, keep going!" 😉
Nice vid! Beginner photographer here tagging along for your UA-cam ride. Could you make a video for choosing the right aperature? I always seem to struggle 😅
Thank you :) I really enjoy hearing that a video of mine is helpful or fun for the viewers And yes, an aperture guide is a must do sometime in the near future.
Thanks fellow. It’s very true, a great photograph, just like a good movie, tells a story. Thanks for the video.
I’m glad you enjoyed it 😁🙏🏻
Hi Ben, thanks for the video. Here’s another fellow photographer from Florida. Great content, you have a new subscriber. Keep it up, thanks for sharing. Cheers.
Wow, I’m speechless. Thank you for the support it means the world to me🙏🏻
Finally I discovered secret of photography, "its the low angle" I will use that in my next photo walk.
It isn't just the low angle, it is more than that, shoot and think differently from anyone else. Find a special character on the street or shoot boring stuff from a unique angle. (: (thanks for the comment btw)
as a cybershot owner, i confirm that i'm soulless
