Nah, theres no way Rimuru is Veldanava. Think about it this way: The VOTW serves the Creator God (Veldanava). There were so many races that it could've chosen to reincarnate him as in the Cardinal World that met the requirements for his bodily wishes (True Dragons, Demons, Angels, Spirits, Slimes) and yet it willingly CHOSE to make him a slime. If he was Veldanava, shouldn't the VOTW have restored him to a minimum of his original race because it serves him? Also, nobody starting making comparisons of Rimuru to Veldanava until around the time he evolved into a True Dragon. The presence (how it's perceived, not felt) of his aura would've been the same which would've alerted Veldora almost immediately in the cave, Guy, Dino, and Dagruel during the Walpurgis, and Velzard and Velgrynd upon meeting him. Yet nobody started to make the connection until after his abnormal power growth. Also, there's no way for him to be a REincarnation of Veldanava, because that would imply that GOD, the very concept of life and creation, had permanently died when hes still a True Dragon and cant be permanently killed (even if he did lose most of his powers). He would be considered an INcarnation, but if he was, he more than likely would've begun to manifest signs of it on Earth and destroyed it just by being present (worlds/universes outside of the dimensional gap/barrier cannot withstand the mere presence of a True Dragon, which is why the Cardinal World is unique). Its a fun fan theory, but theres too many holes to poke in it logically. Theres alot of coincidences, but they're just that: coincidences.

Personally i think he's the opposite/complimentary of veldenava bcz Rimuru cannot be the reincarnation of satoru and veldenava. And about the place where he reincarnated, its bcs of the dense magicules there bcz of veldora and it's just coincidence he reincarnated there nth more nth less. Abt his uniqe skills yes he had two unique skills but Hinata had 2 unique skills namely usurper and mathematician and Dino has 2 Ultimat3 skills namely Heavenly King Astarte and Sloth King Belphegor so it might be luck or desire but a person can have more than one unique skill and skills are born out of their master's desire.....and fyi in the LN the "Wisdom Kimg Raphael" Rimuru uses is different from the "Knowledge King Raphael" Lucia uses you can read it on volume 18 chapter 1. And about the familiarity feeling Michael had was bcz of ciel, it's bcz of the close proximity between him and another manas just like him but about Dine irdk but one isn't just proof enough to conclude Rimuru is the reincarnation of Veldenava

Rimuru orders the death of an entire city, all the others in Tempest might question his order, at least a little. But Diablo's loyalty is so strong, he wouldn't even blink an eye. So it makes sense why Rimuru would use The Black Numbers for this. They are not only his most powerful but also his most loyal.

For diablo he doesn't care if rimuru is weak he just find him so interesting that he might know the truth to the world

no it is even said in the anime that most events are the result of multiple master minds with slightly different agendas working and scheming with each other and against each other.... This includes: Yuuki, Mariabell, Grandbell Rosso, Claymen, Kagali, Hinata, Damrada oh and btw everyone of that list even in an all vs 1, Rimuru no diffs since season 2 after freeing Veldora (and yes he beats them that easy without Veldora)

This is the only time he let's loose and doesn't hold back. He also proves in the fight that HE HAS BECOME THE REPLACEMENT FOR THE CREATOR GOD

with the Veldora skill meaning pre vol15 reviving only works for Veldora to my knowledge and also the 3rd ability is by no means weak, just compared to Rimuru skills it falls short since those are literally one of the best that existed at the time True Dragon Strom Dragon Magic grants Rimuru the same intrinsic magic that everyone talks about when they say that Veldora rampaged. and no it is NOT degraded in any way...Rimuru can really use the power of a True Dragon by himself and Veldora doesn't have to give consent or can deny its use of it or has to be connected to him via soul corridor
